Lucky David Lopez is a conartist! Avoid this business! – on 04/28/2010 David "lucky" Lopez of Las Vegas Motorworks contacted me regarding a craiglist ad for a car that I had for sale. My asking price was $500 which he agreed to pay me, but then balked and offered to do a detail on my other vehicle after I moved the following week. I agreed, he gave me his business card and told me to email him since he is the owner and he would have someone come to a mobile detail.

On 05/08/2010 I waited for 6 hours for his alleged employee to show up to detail the above mentioned car, which never happened, nor did I recieve a phone call with explanation.

On 05/15/2010 I was informed that his detail man quit and went to work for a dealership and would not be available to detail my car but that he had a mechanic available that could do some work on my car if needed.

Scheduled appointment for car to be fixed for minor repair..Lucky quit answering his phone and would not return calls or texts regarding either the refund of my $200.00 or the actual repair.

Was informed 07/14/2010 David is going bankrupt and will be losing the lease on his business and will not be able to work on my car or refund my money.

Guess that dealing with anyone who calls themself LUCKY is anything but. Steer Clear of David Lucky Lopez and Las Vegas Motorworks. Conartists!

Honest work, Fixed my AC WOOHOO! – Inspected my Previa, fixed my AC (had to update to new model), flushed fluids, change oil, tune up. Works great. Fixed my car in 1 day.

They even saved me money. I took my car to Tire Works to get some new tires, the Tire Works employee said I needed new rack and pinion as well as tie rods on all four wheels and they just happen to sell that stuff as well.

I wanted a second opinion so I went to Las Vegas Motorworks, they inspected the van, said that it's fine and I don't need any of those things. Honest business and a good price.

Definitely bringing my next vehicle there!

Scam Artist with a business license – David "Lucky" Lopez is everything but lucky. He sold me a car and said it was under warranty which was one of the main reasons I bought it and when I went to smog it the car broke down. I called him and he said to have it towed to his shop which used to be off charelston/commerce and he would take care of it. So I towed it to his shop and he kept making up stories on why it was taking so long and it got to the point where I could only talk to him through text message. He had the vehicle for a little over a month and kept saying I'm fixing it for free you shouldn't rush me and I finally couldn't wait any longer and he says I'm not going to fix it come get your car. When I picked the car up the shop was abandoned and my car was left in the parking lot with the engine torn apart. It's like he got halfway into it and changed his min about the whole thing. I was able to get him on the phone one last time and he threatened me by saying he was going to attack me for telling him he had poor qualities as a business owner and that he shouldn't make promises if he just planned to break them. If you do a search on his name you'll definitely find some interesting things apparently he's a scam artist that hasn't got the karma he deserves so hopefully everyone takes my mistake as a good warning of what your dealing with so if you value your time and money you'll go somewhere else.
