This Chapel ROCKS!!! – We've had a month to think about our experience at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, and have some things we'd like to say.....

First and most importantly; thank you for *completely* exceeding our expectations!

Thank you for being such an amazing entertainer, in the best sense of the word! Our service sounded fresh and fun even though I'm sure it's probably the millionth time you've sang those songs and said those words.

Thank you for knowing the difference between tacky (bad) and kitsch (good).

Thank you for having a sense of humour, and laughing with us.

Thank you for not being jaded, even though I'm sure you've seen it all and could tell some stories.

Thank you for adding in the comment about my ring; it made the service seem so much more personal. My jeweler was thrilled!!

Thank you for not making us feel like we were on a production line, even though we realize we were.

Thank you for having such a great web presence; our initial web research turned up some really questionable sites.

Thank you for offering the live web cast; Keith & I met through the internet, and it seemed incredibly appropriate. We received *many* positive comments about it from friends & family around the world who were able to 'virtually' attend and watched live.

Thank you for having such a cheerful and easy-going staff - everyone we spoke with was great to deal with and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job.

Thank you for adding to the fun during my first visit to Las Vegas. The whole week was such an incredibly amazing experience, and I have to admit, I'm now totally infatuated with Vegas, and am already trying to figure out how soon I can get back!

Ron, even though we were only at your establishment for a short while, we were very impressed by everyone's professionalism. It was a fairly significant event for us, and while it was fun and frivolous, it was never treated lightly by the staff at Viva Las Vegas Weddings. You all rock!!!

Viva Las Vegas Weddings made my wedding day into a nightmare – I got to the Chapel and did all of the paperwork and the girl at the front desk was very polite. I was then taken to my own room as we did the First Look Package with two limos and seperate rooms for an extra $110. There was techs in and out of the room trying to get their wedding camera to work, which I am fine with. Finally the minster came in about 20 minutes late, again not a big deal I'm in no hurry. He asked me my name and then I was given a bouquet of half dead roses. I did the Night Garden wedding for like $665 and was suppose to get an 8 rose bouquet. There was only seven and the "white" roses were completely browning and the greenery was wilting and pieces were falling off! I asked if they had another bouquet and the girl simply told me no and that this was my bouquet. The same with my fiances. So we start the ceremony and the minister makes a few mistakes (not too big of a deal) until he calls me Sara, my name is Karina. So already upset that my bouquet was absolute garbage, now I get called Sara on my wedding day with all of the friends and family there or watching live on webcam. After the ceremony all the minister had to say was "Oops that was the bride before you, my bad." I called the following day to complaint to Brian, the manager there, and he was completely rude and disrespectful. "Well its not our problem your bouquet was like that and you should have said something last night" which I did. Also that there was nothing they could do about the minister. Finally after threatening to write this review and writing the owner (which I still plan on doing, since he refuses to talk to customers according to the staff at Viva Las Vegas) he gets the minister to call me and apologize. He calls me with a half assed apology just like the one the night before. I am sorry but when I am paying $100 per minute (my ceremony was actually only 6 minutes) I at the VERY LEAST expect to be called by the correct name and have a bouquet that is not dead. Once they had my money they were completely rude and did not care about any of the things I experienced. The flowers were dead, the video quality is horrible and lucky me I had to pay for a video where the minister calls me the wrong name. I am trying to see if I can put the video on here so all of you can hear for yourselves. I finally got them to refund the $60 minister fee and $15 for the one missing flower (even though the other 7 were dead), the money I didn't care about it was the fact that they had completely ruined what was suppose to be a great moment with their attitudes and the quality of service. I was then told by Brian after he refunded that little amount that this matter was closed and that he expected to not hear from me ever again. I made the best of it for the ceremony and smiled through it all while thinking why in the hell did I chooce Viva Las Vegas. Just beware I guess. Your wedding day is suppose to be something special and memorable and unfortunately mine was far from special thank you to the staff at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel!!!

Sincere, Fun and Professional! – I'd give them 7 stars if I could! We went for the Red Rocks wedding at the Red Springs. They were efficient and professional and supportive. They seemed as excited for us as we were! The limo driver was perfect! The flowers were amazing and even though I called them about 50 thousand times, every staff member was kind and informative each time. All of our guests were impressed. They made it soooo easy and offered several recommendations to help with the rest of our wedding planning. We got more poses than they told us (although the photographer rushed) and the DVD was terrific. I LOVED them! One of my best friends was married on-site in their gazebo a month later on my recommendation and she was very satisfied.

Planning to get married soon? – A must visit if you are looking to tie the knot, they are not fussy about who/what you marry so long as you pay in advance.. Just kidding.. they are professional and generous

Wonderful – 6 weeks prior to going to LasVegas I spoke to Allan from viva las vegas on the phone and in 20mins he took care of everything. Even things I forgot to think of. The day before our wedding we stopped by the chapel to make sure everything was set. Allan took us around the property, fitted my husband for his tux, told us how everything would come together and answered any last minute questions.

On our wedding day our limo driver Melanie(sweetheart) called our room to set pick up timimgs. She arrived to get me first, I went for the first look package. Then she went back pick up my husband.

We couldn't of asked for a better day, they took a lot of the stress away by making sure we were very looked after. We had nothing to worry about. We had the Elvis pink cadillac wedding. We had a blast we wouldn't change a single thing.

However, it was just my husband and I. No one else. So if you are looking for some kind of 50+ family pleasing wedding day maybe you should do it the old fashion way.

After all it is Vegas...

Rushed, rude & greedy. – Based on the dates of the previous reviews, I wonder if this place has changed much in the past few years. This place is a dump but we really wanted a themed wedding and based on the other reviews, we booked the chapel. I was a little embarrassed so I warned our guests ahead of time by telling them "they are supposed to have the best themed weddings in town". So, when we arrived there were 2 weddings taking place right before ours. Our entire group of 50+ had to wait outside and there was no way to get inside without being seen. They really push the weddings too close together. It was really chaotic and confusing.

The rehearsal was rushed and consisted of them pointing to the spots where we were to go. I wanted to have my whole wedding party at the front with me, but they only had room for four so some of the party didn't even get a chance to participate. It was nothing like I had envisioned. I was completely disappointed.

The thing that really upset me the most was when we brought our own candles to light in honor of departed family members who could not be there. They made us pay $50 just to light them! It was somthing that was very personal and important to me, and that really ruined the sentiment.

They were rude to our family members who wanted to take photos and snapped at them to sit down. I know they have a policy so they can sell you their own photos, but they could have been a little more polite about it. Started dismantling and setting up the next wedding while taking our photos-in front of all of the guests! Couldn't they at least play music during this time? I was mortified and angry. So much for the most important day of our lives. At least the reception - held at a different location - was a blast and made up for the ceremony.

One other word of caution- the limo goes to and from your hotel only if it is on the strip. It will not turn left or right of Las Vegas blvd.

Say "I do" with a traditional or theme wedding in the marriage capital of the world. – In Short
With 125,000 couples a year exchanging vows, Las Vegas is for lovers. Whether it's the first (or fourth) marriage, or if you want to renew vows, this chapel on the Strip can make it special. Walk (down the aisle) like an Egyptian, get married in Camelot, go gothic or, for a real shotgun wedding, have your nuptials performed by the Godfather during a Mafia-themed ceremony.
