Great beer – GB has a good happy hour, best place for a burger and beers aftr work. Service is good, big menu and reasonable.
Best beer in town. – My wife and I eat at GB on a regular basis, why, I love the fresh brewed Marzen beer. I like the decor, there is always room to find a seat, even in the bar where we like to sit. Staff is friendly and actually remember us. Highly recommend a visit here in Las Vegas. We have tried other GB's, but Vegas is the best so far.
food was great... service BAD!! – I recently went there for my husband's birthday and the food and drinks were great!! But to find someone to fill my drink was impossible... And when dessert time came along... I was disappointed... Dessert wasn't even offered... We couldnt even find anyone to even give us our check!!! It wasn't a busy night so I didn't understand why the service was so horrible...I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!
Gordon Biersch is one of the few restaurant chains where you can eat every week, and still leave shaking your head in amazement as to how good the food is. I never get tired of this restaurant.
The restaurant / brewery is the brainchild of two friends (Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch). Their dream of great food and beer came true in 1988, and is still going strong today. Propelled by their commitment to only using the freshest ingredients, and their hand crafted beer, puts Gordon Biersch near the top of the gastropub world.
Yesterday for lunch we had both the Chopped Salad and Cobb Salad. As per usual, both were fresh, crisp, and served with a smile. The salads are quite large, with my two lady guests splitting the Cobb (but still unable to finish it).
Their sandwiches and burgers are also superb, served with garlic fries (the smell of which will win you over right when you walk in). The blackened Ahi tuna sandwich is a must try.
As for me, I generally have the excellent Southwest Chicken Sandwich (Pepper Jack Cheese, Roasted Red Peppers, with Chipotle Mayonnaise on a Baguette). Yesterday was no exception. Interestingly enough, I don?t really care for their beer, even though I am a big beer fan.
Visual flair and fusion fare distinguish this upscale beer hall from smaller microbreweries. – In Short
Airy, industrial decor lends a lighter, more urban feel to Gordon Biersch than most beer halls. The bar may get crowded after 5pm, when a happy-hour crowd hoists a few pints of seasonal Bavarian-influenced beers. A menu of fusion and New American dishes include beer-friendly offerings like shrimp and chicken pot stickers, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops and the signature garlic french fries.
Be Carful – Been going there for quite some time but not any more. Left my digital camera on the table while I went to have a smoke. When I got back the table was reset and bingo, camera gone. Now yes it was my fault for leaving it but where I have the problem is the staff was very unconcerned and unattended to my needs. So be careful and hold on to your purses ladies there be thieves in this here joint!
Best Pub Food in LV – My husband I tried this restaurant before we moved to Henderson. Although we had eaten at many other Gordon Bierschs. this one is the only one with great food. We especially like the fried artichoke hearts, the meatloaf sandwich and the hummus salad plate. The portions are large, so we have never had room for dessert. Yes, it is noisy and can be very crowded, but it is great for lunch or a midweek dinner. Oh, and the beer is great, too!
U Should Be A Regular! – If you live in Las Vegas, you should definitely be a regular at Gordon Biersch on Paradise. I'm from the Bay Area, and we have a lot of great bars and clubs. When I went to visit my sister in LV, she took me to GB on a Friday. She had been telling me about it for months because there is a great reggae band that plays every Friday (and she is a reg) and she knew I would love it. She was right! I can't wait to be back in LV so we can spend another Friday evening at GB. It was fun, it was packed, the food was great, and everyone had a positive vibe. Lots of good-looking folks, too. Don't miss out! Go to GB on Fridays!
