the Fountains – I've been there twice and sat outside both times. the inside seemed a little stuffy but a good place to spot celebraties, but sit outside! the veiw of the fountains and a front row seat for the show is well worth it . there arent that many tables outside so it is quite intimate too.

Like its famed namesake, Picasso does for your sense of taste what the master painter's work does for your eyes. – In Short
Given that it's one of the city's masterpieces of culinary sophistication, it's only natural that this restaurant is named after a famous artist--and features 11 of his canvasses to boot. What's more,.the daily tasting menu and prix fixe menu--which use only the freshest ingredients--is as stunning as the scenery. Specialties include medallions of fallow deer with caramelized green apples, quail salad with sauteed artichokes and pine nuts, and sauteed black bass with cauliflower mousseline.

Best Meal Ever – My wife and I are self proclaimed foodies. I have been in the restaurant industry in New York for seven years and we have eaten in just about every fine dining establishment in New York. Sorry to say New York but my favorite restaurant is now 2500 miles away. We ate in Picasso during our honeymoon in Vegas and every single expectation we had we're far exceeded.

The Service: FLAWLESS, For the first time ever a restaurant went out of there way to make sure my wife who is allergic to shellfish could order the tasting menu. Basically the Waiter said.. Choose whatever you want to be fed and you shall have it. We had two personalized 6 course tasting menus. No restaurant in New York ever would do this for us. The whole crew was on the ball from start to finish.

The Food: AMAZING. Yes some of the portions are small but others we're more than average. We did the tasting nenu and by dessert we could barely take one more taste but off course we finsihed every last drop because it was so decadent. The venison was cooked to perfection. The seared fois gras addictive. Each dish somehow outdid the previous one. Presentation was perfect and the timing between courses was right on the money. By the ned of the meal we were asking if we could personally thank the chef.

The Ambiance: Fountains, Picasso Originals, and Romance. What more could you ask for?

I really don't understand where the gripes about this restaurant are coming from. Yes $500 is a lot to spend on a meal for 2 but to celebrate a special occasion there is no place I would rather spend 3 hours.

An uncommon experience (?) – I can't relate to the negative reviews. This was a great experience. We got to sit by the window and enjoyed an unobstructed view of over ten fountain shows.

Fabulous – We dined 2 weeks ago for my wifes 30th birthday with a party of 12. I was a little concerned with a prior post from a party of 10. We had high expectations and they exceeded our expectations. From the moment we were greeted until we left the service was top notch. We did the Chef's 5-course tasting with wine pairing. The food was wonderful and pairings spot on. We brought in a '76 Lafite & '76 d'Yquem that they corked for us. Master Sommelier Robert Smith and Assistant Sommelier Desi Echavarrie handled the wine service beautifully. It is not cheap but worth every penny for what you get. We dined at many fine restaurants during our 8 day stay & Picasso was our favorite.

What a $5000 dissappointment – Just ate there with a party of 10 and to the person we were underwhelmed. The portions miniscule, the service snobby and overbearing, and we were all hungry when we left. I think this is the most overated restaurant in Las Vegas bar none.

A disaster – I have to say that I heartily agree with many of the negative comments here. Our experience, to put it bluntly, was a mess. Substandard food (and I really mean that) combined with inattentive service with an attitude. Atmosphere is nice but that certainly doesn't mean much in the midst of anything else. I heartily recommend that you go elsewhere.

A major disappointment – I agree with the others here who described this restaurant as a major disappointment. Small portions, totally uninspired (OK, boring) food. Like another reviewer, I had a filet mignon that was quite poor (my local steakhouse could have done better). And, yes, the portions were miniscule (this is a $100-per-person fixed price menu). The wait staff were self-absorbed and relatively inattentive (and amazingly unresonsive to my party's concerns about our food). The setting is beautiful, but that didn't come close to making up for the food and (lack of) service. There are so many great restaurants now in Las Vegas; you can do much, much better than this.

Great Food, Snotty Attitude – My husband and I were staying at the Bellagio, and made reservations in the morning for a 9pm table with relative ease. From the moment we arrived, however, the hostess was extremely rude and arrogant, reminding us that we had only made reservations that day while many people have to wait 3 months. There were at least half a dozen empty tables at 9pm, and when we asked to be re-seated closer to the window, the hostess rudely answered that it was not possible. (No one ever filled most of those tables) Turned off by her attitude, we were unable to enjoy most of the delicious meal (except for the over-salted potatoes). Bottom line is that if you are going to shell out the $250 for a meal, you would hope to be treated nicely, whether you made the reservation 3 months or 3 hours before.

Your last & ONLY meal... – Zagat's was right...if you could only have one more meal..this is where you would want to be. Whether you choose the Prix Fixe or Degustation menu..make certain that you add the wine pairing to your dinner...then sit back, relax, and enjoy the "show." I cannot visually describe the presentation of each course adequately...the poached oysters in vermouth sauce topped with a dollop of ossetra caviar nestled in their shells and sitting in tiny napkins that, themselves, were artwork started the meal. My wife had green pea soup..YES..GREEN PEA SOUP..she wanted 3 more servings...amazing!! And it kept getting better...building to a wonderful finish...if you want to feel like a "high roller" in Vegas...eat nowhere else...this is truly the best.
