Great guy! – I called them and gave them the model number and information. He told me what to check and I did. I found the problem and fixed it myself with no problem. He wouldn't even talk about coming out until I checked it first! I will definitely call them if I have any problems in the future!
More than fair – Well, they didn't fix my TV, but they would have. They called and said the repairs would cost almost as much as a new set. They spent time checking my TV out, but refused to take any money for their time.
DONT GO THERE – THEY HAVE HAD MY TV FOR 4 WEEKS AND STILL WONT TELL ME WHEN IT WILL BE DONE. I CALL EVERY DAY ONLY TO GET THE SAME RESPONSE "I WILL CHECK ON IT AND CALL YOU BACK" . DO THEY CALL BACK? HELL NO. IM TELLING YOU PEOPLE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME FIND SOME PLACE ELSE TO GET YOUR REPAIRS DONE. FOOTBALL SEASON WILL BE OVER BY THE TIME I GET MINE BACK.
Honest and Very Knowledgable – I have been referring customers and have used Discount TV Repair for my personal TV problems. I have always had good quick responses and the Majority of the time he knows the problem over the phone. I run an Install Company that specializes in TV Installations and Service. This is the ONLY company I refer people to for TV Repairs.
Don't Hesitate give them a call. Some times its hard to please everybody but they sure do try.
Customer service? good joke! – I took my plasma tv over to their shop on Valley View on a Monday, the guy upfront told me they were going to have my tv fixed by Friday, I called Friday afternoon to get a status on my tv, the guy told me that they didn't have time to put the new part in but to call back on Monday. I called Monday afternoon again to ask if I could pick up my tv, but once again it wasn't ready and said that it would be fixed by Friday (it would have been two weeks that they would have had my tv), so in my frustration I asked him if I could pick up my tv to take it somewhere else his manners and courtesy went out the window, all he told me was "no, because I need time to put it back together, call tomorrow afternoon to check on it", today (Wednesday 18) I went to get my tv, I gave him an extra day to put my tv back together and get it ready for pick up, when I get there the guy starts telling me in a loud voice how I was supposed to be there the day before, that he waited for me all day long and I didn't show up that it didn't matter where I took my tv I was going to get the same answers because I was being so impatient and needed to relax..on top of that they scratched the front of my tv and left marks on the screen!. I will NEVER do business with these people EVER again..and I would NOT recommend them to anybody.
Outstanding service – Excellent service and very honest people. Fixed my problem with very reasonable pricing. In response to the idiot who complained about the drivers not taking off their shoes, maybe you should have put your tv outside for them to pick up. Do you want them to dust and polish your home too. Get a life if thats all you have to nag about, get a life!
Disrespectful employees – Sure they got they job done. But they managed to disrespect my house and my mother in the process. I wasn't present at the time but my mother did inform me that when asked to take off their shoes to walk on the carpet, they refused and had a bad attitude about it. When I called the manager he did not seemed too concerned with the problem. If you don't care how you get your tv fixed, then it doesn't matter, give them a call. But if you actually want to good, respectful customer service, I recommend you look elsewhere.
Honest! – We called and explained the problem we were having with our TV, they not only knew exactly what had happened, were totally honest with us when they said "time for a new TV". We have heard many friends pay 100+ to have a service person come to their home and tell them this! It was great to deal with someone honest on the phone and not get charged for a service call! Thanks!
Extremely Helpful – I called these guys and told them what was wrong with my T.V. They immediately knew the brand of my T.V.
and recomended a way to fix the problem myself before even mentioning a word about costs. I tried their method and fixed the problem myself and now I'm writing this review! First and only place I called and recieved true customer service instead of people trying to take my money! Very pleased!
