Serving up steak the way you like it, try a down-home place the whole family can enjoy.. The Scene
The atmosphere is western casual down to the bucket of peanuts on the tables with the tossed shells scattered about the floor. Never daring such stunts at home, kids can take special delight in chucking their peanut casings. The look is decidedly dude ranch dining room with lots of tables and booths in cowboy upholstery with wood railings separating dining areas. The grab for adults, besides dressing down for dinner, is the premium beef brought in and cut daily by the in-house butcher.

The Food
The offerings are simple---mesquite grilled steaks, chops, ribs and chicken with baked white, sweet or mashed potato sides and salad or soup accompanying entrees. The sweet yeast rolls are difficult to pass up. There're also hamburgers and various sandwiches, as well as full-meal salads and the usual appetizers. To the rear is the full bar (happy hour daily 5-7pm.) The servers are friendly, prompt and accommodating.
