Daly's Is a great School. I had a great time and met some great people. I was a little worried about getting into this industry. Mike at Daly's really told me what to expect, not what I wanted to hear. I was prepared for the job reality and while it's been an adjustment I feel like I knew what was coming. Great facility and equipment and I always like the way a family run business treats you. Nothing but good things to say about the entire staff thanks guys!

I went to Daly’s Truck School over Christmas. I visited 3 other schools before I settled on Daly’s Truck School. Katlaw, Georgia Driving Academy, and Americas Driving Force. America’s is the cheapest school but only about 400 less then Daly’s. Georgia Driving Academy is the most expensive I don’t know why. Katlaw is about the same as Daly’s and clearly tied with Americas as the worst looking school.

If you take the time to visit all the schools you will be blown away by Daly’s visually. The equipment and facility can’t be more then 3 years old I swear. The school is clean and new and the paved lot has metal shelters everywhere. It’s truly custom built for truck training. The trucks are all Macks and really well maintained. The road trucks have custom seating in the back to optimize your comfort while road training.

I went thru school and graduated in 3 weeks. 2 guys out of the 12 in training didn’t pass the Daly’s test to allow them to go test at DDS. They got additional training and went to test a couple days later. They really needed additional time. One guy was dangerous I was glad the trainers had the balls to tell him no he was not ready and not safe.

At the test site 4 guys tested and 4 guys including me passed everything. We saw a bunch of students from Katlaw test the same day. The truck they were in was a piece of #&^$ and 1 of the 3 people barely passed. The instructor from Katlaw was yelling at the examiners when the student’s clearly failed. So unprofessional. The examiners seemed to prefer us over the Katlaw students. Daly’s is awesome check out for yourself you will see.

Hard to get a CDL at Daly's

I recently attended Daly's and it took me 2 months to get my CDL license. I got my permit, but the yard training had too many students per truck to get adequate seat time. Instructors did not care if I learned or not since the school had my CASH for the training. It took me 3 attempts to pass the state CDL road test, mainly because I was offered very little practice time in a truck. I recommend you search other schools before you commit to Daly's.

To Whom This May Concern

I want to thank each and everyone at Daly’s for all the patience, dedication and understanding that you all have shown me since I started my journey at Daly’s Truck School. Daly’s is truely committed to helping students achieve their goal of becoming Professional Commercial Truck Drivers. The training I received was phenomenal! The school had a great learning atmosphere about it. Daly’s has quality and patient instructors who where all former Truckers. They understood that all students have different weakness and will meet you at whatever level you’re at. The instructors were very helpful always patient and willing to work with me. They kept putting forth the effort as long as I was willing to try harder.

Arriving at Daly’s, they first get you through preparing for your CDL written test. Then you get onto the yard doing maneuvers and finally onto the road. The instructors all have your best interest at heart. They give you detailed instructions and make sure you do everything correctly. Their goal is to mold you into becoming a safe and successful, Professional Truck Driver. Daly’s is an outstanding and professional school with very informative instructors and lots of hands on training. I really appreciated the small class size, because there was more one on one opportunity for each individual student. The instructors all have their own unique ways of teaching and if you listen, you will learn a lot from all of them. I had a good time. It was fun! I believe that Daly’s provides a top-notch training program from beginning to end. Their high standards are simply set up for success. The instructors have all helped me in many different ways and are good at what they do. They stayed with me throughout challenging times of the course and helped me master things I thought I would never get. I appreciate everything you guys have done to help me succeed.

The administrative staff was very professional as well and I would also like to thank them all. They perform their jobs extremely well, as true professionals like they are. They always greeted me with a warm smile and a wiliness to help, going the extra mile if needs be. I highly recommend this school to eager student truck drivers who are seeking both driving and trucking survival skills.

Daly’s was definitely a great experience for me. You all have done your parts in preparing me for my career. I have so much appreciation and respect for this school. I have gotten my Class A CDL and graduated and have now been hired by Averitt Express. I owe it all to the wonderful staff at Daly’s for making that possible. God bless you guys and keep up the good work!!

Hey keep doing what you guys do best!!!!
