Because the sandwiches are expensive here, I am taking the time to leave this review. With ill parents at home and a nice neighbor who watched them for me, I went to the Bagel Cafe to order two lean corned beef sandwiches for them to give them a treat. I specifically ordered them lean but when I got home they were fatty, fatty, fatty. Had i checked them in the car before leaving this restaurant, I would have gone back in and had them correct this.. As it turned out, I could not leave my parents again to return these sandwiches. As such we tried to pull the fat off of them but couldn't. Quite honestly, I've ordered pastries before and I guess the vibe I get is dismissive and arrogance which I assume is because they are successful and busy. I am sorry I didn't check the sandwiches before taking them home, but is that my responsibility anyway? I assumed I didn't need to. Buyer beware. These sandwiches are not the price of a McDonald's---so if they mess up, you've stuffed quite a bit of time, money, and corned beef down the garbage disposal, in addition to disappointing your family.

BEWARE – This place will actually charge you for sharing a sandwhich with a friend. They tell you what to do and when

to do it. The manager Peter is two faced and the owner Stavros smiles in your face while he makes sure to collect HIS money whether your satisified or not. If a REAL deli

would open up it would close this place down. Basically it is the only place in town to go to that is why they have their edge. Watch out is you ask for a slice of tomoate you might have to break out you BLACK American Express Card. They act like they care, but the only thing they are interested in is the bottom line YOUR MONEY>

A rare find: a full-service deli that features everything from brisket to bagels. – In Short
A full-service deli that features everything from brisket to bagels to hamentash is a difficult find in Vegas. Fortunately, the Bagel Cafe, conveniently located just off the Summerlin Parkway at Buffalo, delivers the goods with a menu so big that it takes an effort to read. Those in the know flock to this big, bright and pleasant restaurant. Customers should expect average deli prices and very high quality.

Best Pastrami I've had in Vegas... – I'm a big sandwich lover, and haven't found too many places in vegas I consider 'above average.' I ordered a Pastrami on Rye with swiss. It came with a side (I chose pasta salad), and a half-sour pickle. It was all delicious and the meat of a high quality.

My only complaint was the cost... It was ~$10 for the sandwich. However, I will return and enjoy their delicious food.

Clean Yummy Diner – We just moved from NYC and were looking for good diner type food. This place has a casual atmosphere, huge menu, and pretty decent food. Its deserts/bakery items are particularly yummy and remind us of little bakeries in NYC. Try the carrot cake, it is some of the best we have had!

It's the BEST – Love the variety. My family and I go there often.

Who knew you could do so much with cream cheese. I do miss the outdoor seating though.

Bagels Rule – Although always packed with bagel lovers, this is a place to enjoy for lunch or breakfast. It has some of the best bakery goods (on top of great bagels) in the city.

Would you like rudeness with that? – The food is fabulous, but not good enough to endure the casual rudeness and cavalier disregard of even the most elementary customer service concerns.
