Watch out for American Home Shield (AHS). Last Sunday, I called AHS to request service on a refrigerator that was not working well. The first local company they gave me, when I called them on Monday, was still on vacation for Thanksgiving. The second company made it out late Tuesday and found they needed parts. They had to order them from AHS and as today Monday, 8 days later, I am still waiting for a functioning refrigerator. I guess there is not a local company they can use to get parts and have my refrigerator functioning in a few hours.

BUYER BEWARE, AVENTURA CLOTHING

I should of paid attention to warning signs at the get go for online ordering with Aventura Clothing. Was not smooth and their delivery was odd. Sent order thru UPS, but had it delivered to the post office for the final delivery, which added extra time. When I called and asked why they did it this way, they got indignent, like I was the fool. Then came the return. I made the return via the post office, filled out all their forms. I live chated with Aventura Clothing after several weeks passed and they said they had no record of the original order. After pressuring live chat they told me the credit had not been processed, that they were extremely busy with orders. After more pressuring I got a committment that the credit would be processed before Thanksgiving. So, Monday after Thanksgiving I live chated with Aventura Clothing again, asked where my credit was and was told it was not processed yet. After pressuring with live chat, I would at this point contact the NVBBB, my credit card co and I would blog about this experience if I did not receive my credit by the end of the day, Monday. Well, I called Ventura Clothing Tuesday, and guess what! I was told that my credit has not been processed yet. The only thing I can imagine is that they need to sit on funds, thus not giving returns in a timely manner. They need to take lessons on customer service and business from companies like Zappos and On Line Shoes

BEWARE OF NV SCHOOL OF DANCE. – If your daughter is not tall and skinny she will be psychologically abused,as my daughter was.my daugher was told she was to short,had man thighs,not to eat this or that and after many years of being taught by the owner,and me not noing what was being said to her,only now am i finding out the life lasting effects that they have done to her,and to top it off was told that she would never be a professional dancer,what a way to destroy a girls hopes.

asset realty management – don't use this company!!!! they won't give you your rent money due, instead they payed off last renters bills...made the bills sky high...did sevices to my house when i said no....put me behind in my morg. they dont use any spanish people..they fired my pool man then told me about it!!!! i fired them!!!! they are not protecting the owner!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!found out that judy henkins owns part of her painters business..thats why she wouldnt take no for a answer!!!!FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Putt Guru – I purchased a putter from the above. After research I discovered that this individual is a scam artist. Contacted the BBB, Neighborhood Justice Bureau but never received my item. He will not return it because I gave him a negative review. Must mention that he charges three times the cost of similar items. Stay away from this guy.

norwalk furniture DON'T BUY FROM THEM – My daughter bought a table from norwalk furniture only to have the worst experience ever. Table ordered in august 2009 delivery set for October no show no call. Manager said table stuck in customs. Finally delivered in November brocken. The delivery guys were nice enough to set it up they had to know it was brocken. Thank God a small child wasn't placed on it or anything of value. To knowingly leave this is irresponsible to say the least. The manager is an idiot and has absolutly no customer service skills.

PAYLESS CAR RENTAL IS A RIP OFF! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE – Please do not use payless Car rental located in the Airport complex .. Sean the "manager" is very rude under trained and does not know how to speak to customer this company will charge you excess tax that end up being more than the actual rental car! you are better of going to one of the Big three car rentals place i.e.... Alamo Avis Hertz .. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY IT IS A TRUE RIP OFF! the cars and the taxes are not worth the problem and you will not get your deposit back until 72 hours or longer !

WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING – I thought the bitter bureau was a trustworthy organization NOT!!!!

I looked up a reliability report on a local auto shop, they had stated this place was a great business.

I took my car in for an oil change, yes that's it, an oil change. After two hours of waiting I was told that I needed a long list of repairs! WHAT!!!! I was furious and almost feel for their tactics. I took my car to the dealership and they said it was FINE and told me how these auto shops try to rip you off. I immediately called the bureau to complain but they said since the business I was complaining about was accredited that my complaint was worthless. I later found out Accredited means that the company pays the bitter bus. bureau to say they are a great company. WHAT A SCAM! Never trust the b b bureau they are the worst racket of them all!

Unethical Company-Showcase Resorts – We hired Showcase Resorts to sell our timeshare almost a year ago (Nov 07). Their promise was to sell it in 90 days. With the current real estate market, I was skeptical about them being able to sell it in that time frame, but they kept assuring us they could. I asked them to sign a written "guarantee" that if it wasn't sold in the 90 days, they would refund our very hefty "up front" payment. Needless to say, we still have our timeshare and are no closer to the "sell" then we were when they first contacted us last year. We've been given the run around for 10 months now. It's always "give us 30 more days" or "let me see what the problem is and I'll have an answer for you in two weeks". I think they are crooks. I will do everything in my power to get the word out about this company. I'm so tired of hearing their excuses and delay reasons. For the most part, they are nice "sounding" people with the exception of David Medley who was a very rude individual. These are very "smooth talking" crooks and should be avoided at all costs. Buyer Beware. All they do is take your "upfront" fee. They are now telling us the 90 days wasn't for the actual sale. It was just to start the paperwork that it takes much longer and "they are sorry no one explained that".

We have made dozen's of calls (recorded) to them with the same results. They even avoid our calls or "pretend to return our calls" by calling our home # during the day when they know we are not available although they have our cell number.

The Moose International Convention is in Vegas in Nov and I'm thinking of placing an ad in their national magazine regarding this company to warn other "suckers".

Attorney at Law Kenneth G. Frizzell III, Got a traffic ticket? DO NOT GO TO HIM!!! – His office took my money over the phone for the traffic ticket service. They sent a letter to me to sent the money to the court for a wrong persons ticket. Then the metro sent a warrent for my arrest. I was driving with a warrent because they had me pay for someone elses traffic ticket. I called the office for months for this to be corrected, but these people named Lucy, Brook, and Heather were very rude everytime. I could never leave a msg. to Frizzell and they never fixed the problem even though I faxed all the information twice on the mistake they made. I finally called the court house for the second time and I cried over the phone. The lady was nice and listened to what went wrong and fixed the problem. My traffic ticket was for August 2007, and finally end of May 2008 I was able to fix ,on my own. Kenneth G. Frizzells office never fixed their mistake and never appologized. I have never delt with such service in my life. They really are the crooks!!!!
