The most knowledgable Doctors we have been to. – Dr. Price and Dr. Wienberger have been amazing over the last 5 years. Our daughter was premature and under 4 pounds. They were at the hospital every day to check in on her, they both called everyday too. After being sent home, they continued to call and check in to make sure everything was going well. I can't say enough about the caring nature of the doctors that call and come to your home so that you don't have to bring a little one out. Our daughter was very weak and sick for the first few months and the doctors made sure I felt comfortable bringing her in to them or they would just call to check in. After the critical months in the beginning. We started taking her to the office, they were always nice, and easy to get along with.
After her second birthday, she got a high fever 104.3, so we called and they got her in right away. She had a UTI with urinary reflex, they sent her to a specialist. And since then have been on top of knowing every UTI and treatment, without me even calling. After a ER visit in PA, Dr. Price called me to make sure that everything was ok.
The office staff is sometimes a little rough around the edges, however if you think about it most doctors office staff are over worked, under paid and running around without a spare moment. Other times they are pleasant and easy going, I called for immunization records and was faxed them in less than 5 minutes.
As an RN, I wouldn't trust any other practice with my child's health at this point.
I feel for the parents that have had bad moments with this practice. But think about all the parents who have great ones. It saddens my heart to see mainly bad reviews with this practice, other good reviews should be written as well.
HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – This is what happened to me. My son has been a patient here since he was born and the service has gotten worst every year. I took him here many times because of his poor appetite finally after I insisted they sent him for Blood Work. The doctor told me not to worry and just be patient which I have been. I took him for the blood work and I didn't hear from the doctor. A month and a half later I called for them to faxed me his blood work because I like keeping copies of his records. It turns out he had anemia and the doctors didn't bother on calling to let me know simply I don't think they care.
Previously to that I took him there with high fever and they say not to worry that everything was fine. I left on vacation and I ended up in the hospital because they have missed he had an urinary tract infection.
In addition to that his last visit have been so rushed that I feel this place should be call Premier Pediatrics Express is one after the other and no individualized care.
Now you know........................................................
Trust me, don't go there – My daughter had been there for 2 years. Doctors could do a better work than just trying to get as many clients as possible...For instance, we had to pressure them to be more vigilant about emergencies. My daughter once had Croup and had real difficulties to breathe. We were in the park, we called this office and they called back 45 minutes later to say that a doctor would call us back soon. By the time we finally had a doctor calling us back (not even our "dedicated" doctor), we were already at the hospital with nurses and doctors putting my daughter under breathing assistance.
Another thing about this office is their accounting department. We left this office in February 2010 and picked up my daughter's medical file in March 2010. We made sure that we were up to date on bills and the answer was that we had nothing to pay for that we hadn't paid already. Comes October 2010 when I received a bill from this office dated as of October 2009 (One FULL YEAR LATER). I called this office and tried to manage with their accounting dept this issue. In a period of 2 months time, I had to continuously call them back to follow up even if I constantly told them to keep me updated. After 2 months of trying to understand what happened and mostly to make sure that I wasn't billed twice, I received a call saying "we are telling you that we are sending your bill to recollection". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
They are extremely unprofessional, are unable to send you any proof of what they tell you and are DEFINITELY not trying to assist you. Their mindset? Why would they care about solving this kind of issue when they can send your bill to recollection and not deal with it!!!!
Trust me, I don't work for any of their competition but I guarantee you that you don't want to bring your child there!!!
COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE! – My son has been a patient here since he was born. My Obstetrician recommended them and since I highly trusted her, I figure I should see this group. All the doctors are excellent. I am a nurse so I can definitely tell you that this group practices great medicine.
I personally love Doctors Sylvain Weinberger, Jon Sarnoff and Deena Blanchard; they have been caring, knowledgeable and sweet. This is my first kid and as you can imagine I had a lot questions in the beginning. I'll always appreciate them being tolerant to all my first time parent type of questions. They also give you same day appointment if your kid is sick. They even make call backs, which I've never abused but I once needed in a Saturday night when he was newborn. They gave me great advice and put my mind at ease.
I couldn’t recommend them any higher.
