Once Upon a Tart

I visited this place {last week|by saturday). We spend some good time there.

Love it! – I order some catering from Once Upon a Tart for a Breakfast and Lunch meeting.

This is such a cool spot with very accomodating staff.

The food was plentiful and delicious.

I will definitely contimue to use them for our large & small events.

Simply Delicious! – Once Upon a Tart's catering service was beyond excellent, it was simply delicious! The food presentation was beautiful and the food was that of a 5 star quality resturant. You can tell that this company has the highest level of culinary art training and a chef will not dissapoint you. I would use them again for all occassions and highly recommend their services to anyone in search of a good caterer.

Loved this place!! – I discovered Once Upon a Tart one day when I was doing some shopping in Soho with my friend and I have been back three times since. The highlight is definitely the tarts and scones…they are amazing and I have to admit that I’ve had both of these twice now. The staff are so friendly and helpful which is amazing considering that they are so busy with people lining up outside the door on one occasion that I was there. I strongly recommend everyone to try Once Upon a Tart!! Seriously I love this place!!

Reliable and an Amazing Bakery! Delicious Tarts & Bake Goods – I hired once upon a tart to cater my work functions and every time I can rely on them to get everything right! This may seem like something that should just happen but I’ve been at my current employer for 5 years now and all the other caters I have used have at least got a few things wrong! This may seem insignificant but I love the fact that I just don’t need to worry about anything with once upon a tart! The food is also amazing and they always have something new and creative to share with me! I won’t use anybody else.

Flawless Catering Event! – My wife and I just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and hired Once Upon a Tart to cater the lunch with our close friends and family. They were wonderful to work with from the initial phone call! The food and presentation was amazing. We especially enjoyed the AMAZING apple tart and delicious sandwiches!! It was an afternoon to remember and we look forward to working with such a professional company again in the near future.

Catered my Christmas afternoon tea – I had Once upon a tart cater my christmas afternoon tea at work and I was amazed at how delicious all the food was!! I had been into the store once or twice and decided to give their catering a try and I'm so happy I did!

There were many things that I liked; firstly nothing was too much trouble for them. At the time I placed the order the shop was packed and all the staff were so calm and efficient (I would have been a mess if it were me) They were also helpful in helping me select the tarts, cakes etc as being a man I'm not great at that type of stuff.

My staff were all so happy with what I'd ordered and it was all eaten by the end. I was hoping to take a few things home! I would recommend Once upon a tart to anyone who is planing a function!!

A quaint bakery that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of Soho. – In Short
Only a block or two over from the noise of West Broadway, this tiny cafe--split into two separate rooms--is a place to relax over morning coffee and a home-baked goodie, like buttermilk-currant scones or the namesake tarts. The lunch offerings (chicken potpie, sandwiches, mixed greens, daily salads or soups) are homemade and inexpensive.

Best muffin I've ever had... – I work in Soho, and there are few affordable lunch spots in this neighborhood, so when I came upon Once Upon a Tart, I rejoiced! My roasted turkey sandwich with brie and cranberry on a baguette was delicious, and the pear ginger muffin was quite honestly the best muffin I've ever had. Even better, it was the cheapest sandwich I've found in the neighborhood. The only drawback was that I had to wait at the counter for a bit before anyone came to help me, and then, when she did, she was less than friendly. But, it won't keep me from going back.

i love it always – my favorite coffee shop in SoHo- from ever. keep it up!

Delicious & fun! – This cozy cafe has great food and decent prices - the tarts, soups, salads, and madelines were yummy!!! Staff was helpful and nice - go, you won't be sorry!

Worth the trip... – if you're not from the nabe, would love one like it in my own. While the cookies disappoint, the salads, scones, macaroons, sandwiches, and (of course) the tarts are fabulous :-)

Still Going Strong – Been going here since it opened. perfect place for a great lunch or coffee break(can get crowded though). Now they're serving first rate Chocolate cupcakes that wipe the floor with Magnolia.

Dee-lish! – Once Upon a Tart has wonderful sandwiches, absolutely delicious tarts and mouthwatering desserts. The muffins are the size of a softball and are baked fresh everyday! Once upon a Tart has an excellent catering menu which, although a bit pricey, gives you a lot of choices and varitey, is not skimpy on the portions and is simply YUMMY! Its fun to eat in the store itself, as it is quaint cafe-style joint, but it's often difficult catching a table during lunch hours as the NYU crowd makes this a popular hang-out for coffee and nosh.
