Reviews for Sau Voi Corp

It looks like a tiny record store, and it is. But hidden inside is a tiny counter with two ladies making the best banh mi sandwiches in New York.

Get your sandwich and lotto at the same place – I've tried a couple of Banh Mi places, so far this place is ranking up there.

Tried the house special (dac biet). The crunchy/chewy roll was about 8 inches long and stuffed with the classic ham and pork roll. I didn't see any pate but there was a white sauce like mayo and it somehow works! The veggies were perfectly crunchy and pickled. Asking for it spicey gets you a few squirts of Sriracha.

Doesn't get any better, especially at $4 each!

CLOSED!!! – Oldest running shop in Chinatown only recently closed.

A Vietnamese bodega serves up tasty banh mi. – New York’s first ever banh mi shop has been serving quality sandwiches since 1994--albeit alongside cigarette cartons and a lottery ticket machine. Sau Voi offers over a dozen different variations on the traditional banh mi sandwich, like the so-called #16: A combination of barbecued chicken, pate and pickled vegetables. Production of sandwiches from a deli counter with less surface area than a hot dog cart is nothing short of remarkable. The bargains on banh mi at this Chinatown shop are as good as any you’ll find on Canal Street.

Incredible Vietnamese Sandwiches – Fresh delicious Vietnamese sandwiches on a warm French baguette for under $4. Who could ask for more? Try the ham pate and turkey with vegetables, lemongrass and hot sauce. And if you're looking for a Vietnamese CD or iced coffee or ladies' undergarments this is the place for you.

This is the kind of place that New York City was made for.
