Greatest Optical I've been to – I had a great experience at Mott Street Optical. I was able to get my contacts and glasses in a timely fashion and the staff are super nice. I have high astigmatism, and every optical and optometrist I been to before Mott Street Optical always need at least 2-3 different trials in order to get me the right one. But at Mott Street Optical, the Optometrist (Dr.Law) only needed one trial, and gave me the most comfortable and clear contact lens I've ever tried. Although I had to wait a week for my trial lens, but that's standard for our type of prescriptions. Through my insurance, my exam and my lenses are covered. For my glasses, I had a bit hard time to pick one out in the beginning b/c they have so many great selections. Finally, they helped me pick out a pair of Chanel frame, I got so many compliments from it that I don't even want to wear my contacts much! I highly recommend this place if you want to go to an optical w/ great selections and professional staff.
AWFUL – I WILL NEVER COME HERE EVER AGAIN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I CAME HERE 3 WKS AGO FOR BOTH AN EYEGLASS AND CONTACTS EXAM, THE DR. WAS VERY NICE, THEY TOOK MY INSURANCE INFORMATION ETC. I DIDN?T LIKE ANY OF THE FRAMES THERE SO I HAD PLANNED TO GET MY GLASSES SOMEWHERE ELSE BUT PLANNED TO ORDE RMY CONTACTS THRU THEM. BIG MISTAKE. AFTER A WEEK WENT BY, AND I DIDN?T HEAR ANYTHING, I CALLED THEM AND THEY CLAIMED THEY HAD NO IDEA WHERE MY FILE WAS, THAT I MUST BE CALLING THE WRONG LOCATION ETC. THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS. I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY THAT THEY IMMEDIATELY PUT THE Exam THRU MY INSURANCE YET THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY COULDN?T FIND MY FILE? SO FINALLY SOMEONE SOLVES THE MYSTERY AND THEY TRY TO BLAME ME AND SAID THEY WERE WAITING FOR ME TO CONFIRM SO NO ONE ORDERED ME TRIAL LENSES. WHAT DID THEY NEED ME TO CONFIRM? IT?S NOT LIKE I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR THEM. SO ALL THIS TIME GOES BY, I KEEP CALLING EVERY FEW DAYS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE ARRIVED AND NOTHING. I HAVE NEVER WaiTED THIS LONG FOR TRIAL LENSES. I CALL TODAY AND THEY TELL ME THAT YES THEY HAVE ARRIVED. I ASK WHY HAS NO ONE CALLED AND SHE JUST SAYS, SHE DOESN?T KNOW. IS THIS THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS? I MEAN, I AM TRYING TO GIVE MY BUSINESS TO AN INDEPENDENT RETAILER YET I HAVE NOT BEEN TREATED SO UNPROFESSIONALLY AT A CHAIN? THIS DOESN?T MAKE SENSE. I UNDERSTAND CERTAIN PRESCRIPTIONS TAKE AWHILE, I WILL LET THE WAIT GO, BUT THE FACT THAT THEY HAD NO IDEA WHERE MY FILE WAS FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS A WEEK AFTER I HAD WENT FOR AN EXAM AND THEN WHEN MY CONTACTC FINALLY ARRIVED, NO ONE THINKS TO CALL ME?
