Best Dentist – Everyone is always so friendly and ready to answer any questions that you might have. The hygienists are great and provide excellent service. My dentist is Dr. Marshall Dicker, and he is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever gone to. He will take however much time is needed to work with you and go above and beyond to help resolve any special needs that you may have.
One of the Best – Dr. Dicker is one of the best dentists around. I never liked going to the dentist until I came here. He is a very nice man, and does outstanding work. He is very gentle and very professional. I highly recommend him.
Very nice dentist. He answered all my questions on my first visit and left nothing out. He was realistic, instead of making empty promises, and fulfilled my needs as a patient.
Great Job – I've been coming to this dentist for quite sometime now. I really like the work he does, and how gentle he is. He and his staff do a really great job, and now I don't go anywhere else.
Not a very good Dentist! – I had only problems going to this Dentist. This was the worst experience ever I have had with a Dentist!
Try very hard to accommodate my random work schedul – Dr Dicker and his staff are an amazing team! He is the best dentist I have ever had, very caring and fun at the same time! His assistants are just as nice- they always welcome me with open hands and try very hard to accommodate my random work schedule. I love going back to that place and would recommend it to anyone! Top notch dental service!
Genuinely Care – They work as a great team, they're both extremely friendly and genuinely care about the comfort of their patients. They remember names and previous conversations and seem to really enjoy the work they do. I actually look forward to seeing these them which makes going to the dentist actually kind of fun.
Great Dentist – Every experience I have had there has been very good. From the receptionist to the dentist, Dr. Dicker. Dr. Dicker is easy to talk to, fast, but not hurried and gentle. If you live in New York or close by this is a great dentist to go to.
A REALLY BAD DENTIST. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. – NEVER GO TO THIS "DENTIST" BECAUSE HE IS A CERTIFIED SCAM ARTIST.
I'm only giving this guy one star because you can't go lower than that. I went for my first appoint with this "doctor" a month ago and right off the bat his hygienist tried to pitch teeth whitening to me.
I had to sit in a chair that had residue from another patient. His office was dirty and some of the equipment was rusted, etc.
After that, through a long, 1.5 hour appointment with the hygienist taking unnecessary images of each of my teeth, the doctor came in and proceeded to tell me I needed new fillings, that I had 8 cavities, deep gum cleansing, and more. He proceeded to try and convince me that I had cavities because of stains on my teeth (from the photos) he took. And when I say convince, I mean he tried to use scare tactics to talk about how my entire mouth would get screwed up within weeks if I didn't let him drill into my teeth.
I told him that I had come in for a routine cleaning and exam and needed x-rays and that I'd like to get a second opinion from my original dentist that didn't take my insurance. He gave me such crap about it, saying, "If I had known that is all you wanted, I would have cleaned your teeth and let you leave...instead of wasting our time." It actually sounded like a guilt trip. It's like he knew he had been caught.
I have not had cavities for most of my life and the two I do have is because of a defect on my teeth. This guy not only wanted to replace old fillings, but he wanted to drill into 6 more teeth. Wouldn't clean my teeth. Out right refused, saying that I needed anesthetic based gum cleansing and only then would his hygienist use a laser to confirm all of the cavities. I asked for them to email over my x-rays and they gave me a runaround. When I finally got them, I sent them over to my original dentist and he said that there was NO WAY I had 8 cavities.
I'm glad I uncovered this scam artist before he screwed up my teeth. And don't believe that weird article about that con artist who assumed Dr. Dicker's identity. The real Dr. Dicker is JUST AS BAD.
Teeth Cleaning – I've been to Dr Dicker a couple of times for teeth cleaning, nothing else really but from what I can tell he's a pretty nice guy.
