Massive yet beautiful space with delicious food make this place great for a company dinner or a "parents in town" hot spot.
Not worth your time or money... – Unless you have four hours to kill, don't care about the quality of food and service you are purchasing, and are happy to take the fall for other people's errors.
The bartender was friendly and made terrific drinks. And that's the end of the good news. We waited for over an hour to be seated, after arriving early, and then an additional twenty minutes to place our order. We informed the manager, who said we were seated late because we arrived 45 minutes late. That's funny, this here bar tab is stamped for five minutes after our reservation time. So, we had time to use the restroom, find an open spot at the bar, and order. Nice try. Next time, let's try this: "I'm so sorry about the mix-up. We're very busy tonight and we're trying our best. I appreciate your feedback and will do whatever I can to make sure the rest of your meal goes smoothly."
Good, not great. There were no real stand outs on the good end of the spectrum, except perhaps the balsamic reduction that came with the scallop appetizer. The fig and gorgonzola tart was good, as was the filet mignon. The bouillabaisse was disappointing (over cooked scallop and salty broth) and the penne with chicken was barely palatable. The desserts were probably the best overall course, though this likely had to do with the huge variety that we were offered once the manager realized that he had cast the blame for the seating mix up on the wrong people (perhaps have a conversation with your staff about appropriate behavior when there is a conflict). The standout here was probably the cheesecake and all of the others were quite solid.
If you can't accommodate all of your reservations and are ill-equipped to do damage control, you shouldn't be running a restaurant, because the food isn't going to redeem you here.
