No question, SUHIDEN is the best sushi restaurant in the city. Price is OK too, I mean not crazy expensive, very acceptable.
A taste roller coaster – I can't remember when I've been more satisfied or entertained by a meal purely on the basis of the food. The decor, admittedly, is nothing special. But that's in keeping with the cuisine, which is stripped down to its essentials and presented with absolute austerity, no trace of pretense to hide behind -- just as good Japanese should be. The sushi is fresh and expertly cut -- some of the best I've had in the city. The agedashi tofu is delightfully runny. The ice creams are so wonderfully textured that you'll never set foot in a Baskin-Robbins again. You won't remember the sights and sounds of this place, but the flavors and textures might never leave you.
Good Sushi for a price – Its a crowded mid-town sushi restaurant but the sushi is good and really fresh. Its a bit pricey (two of us ate three rolls for around $45). And you'll need to make reservations.
