horrible don't eat here – I had heard that Dallas BBQ was good and decided to try the new location by my house in queens. My experience was so nausiating I still feel sick. I ordered the Spinach Chicken salad, what I got was a pile of skin, fat and BONE piled on top of my salad. It was so discusting. I picked through what I could and then ate nothing else. Our waiter didn't even check to see how our food was, by the time he brought the check I just wanted to run out of there. It was so discusting I will never enter another Dallas BBQ again.

Dallas BBQ Times Square – I can't believe that I got the worst service ever from your restaurant. We came on July 25, 8 persons 2 families. We were on one table. We couldn't order two menus because they were available on Mon-Fri only, which is fine. But we couldn't order family menu because we were more than 5 persons. Worst part we couldn't sit on two different tables because, the waitress said, we came as one and there's no other waitress that can help us on the other table. A ridiculous reason.

Kinda OK meat, otherwise rude fat fest – I went to the one in Washington Heights with my gf hoping it would be something similar in quality to Dinosaur BBQ, or Rack&Soul. The first thing I noticed was probably the size of almost everybody there: from the customers, to the waitresses/waiters to the plates. Everything was supersized. And I'm 210 pounds and I'm saying I felt skinny. Not to offend the customers, but it says a lot about how healthy the food is. The choices of entrees were, well, obviously barbecued meat with yellow rice, baked or friend potato. I won't even say how two cheap starches with meat doesn't really make for a healthy (or filling for that matter) entree. No cole slaw, no collard greens. We got baby back ribs with cornbread and baked potatoes and a shrimp appetizer. The baby back ribs were ok, but those are kinda hard to mess up and didn't compare with other bbq places in NY. The sauce was more like ketchup, and there was more fat than meat on the bone. It was ok. The potato and the cornbread were also ok, but just that. The jumbo shrimp tasted like water rather than shrimp, the sauce barely saved it to make it eatable. After taking our order our waitress was gossiping loudly about us not ordering two entrees (sorry for trying to not be morbidly obese) with another waitress. Loudly enough for me to hear 20 feet away.

Really, if you're in the area you can try it. I doubt you will try it again though, and I suggest you share your food.

The authentic New Yorker customers that they seem to talk about is true: I don't think tourists should waste their time going there.

Worst Customer Service – I went to Dallas BBQ time square location on Sunday with my whole family, we all order frozen drinks. when i get my drink i noticed everybody's drinks came frozen besides mine that was all flat liquid. when i tell my server the situation she told me she was sorry and that was it. then she comes for second time and i tell her again the issue that's when she says that her manager has told her that my couldn't be replace that's when i said i would to speak to her manager when manager came by the name of Denny he said he couldn't replace it because they don't do that in the restaurant even though i didn't even drink a sip of it. to me that's horrible customer service since they don't serve these drinks with any meter source to measure every sip they pour in their cups in other words all they had to do was just get rid of the one i had and refill it with a frozen one but no, the manager refused to it. all this words are reflecting the real bad customer service from the servers to managers. Real bad service.

Best Chicken Ever....Amazing Prices. – I have been to a few of these Dallas BBQ's....I have to say the chicken is Fantastic. It is crispy on the outside from Rotisserie cooking and moist.....So flavorful.....The drinks are great too,,,,large and cold and reasonably priced for sure.

It is fun and casual, great to take out too...I can buy their chicken and turn it into an elegand meal with my own fixins if I want to impress my friends!

Their burgers and turkey burgers are also really good.....This is a great place to come with a large group too....Love it!

Good Food, GREAT drinks, even BETTER prices – if you are looking for a 5 star restaurant, this is NOT it.

if you are looking for a place to get your grub on, have a few drinks and enjoy the company of your friends and NOT spend a lot of money, then this is the place for you

the TEXAS size pina coladas are great and you get an extra shot ...

I love this place

Big portions, a big space and bargain prices keep people coming back to this low-frills BBQ joint. – In Short
Situated on the ground floor of a high-rise building on an unassuming Upper East Side corner, this Dallas BBQ--one of several in Manhattan--is a labyrinth of several mirrored dining rooms and an enclosed sundeck, all decorated with canopied ceilings and Texas kitsch. The food is barbecued ribs, rotisserie chicken, steak, shrimp and combos thereof. Side orders of beef chili, corn on the cob, baked beans, cornbread and so forth round out the meal.

This place sucks for bbq, don't waste your money – I have had bbq all over the u.s. Dallas BBq is terrible. I went there twice. The food was barely decent, the ribs were not cooked right, the sauce tastes like catsup. the service was just average if that, both times our servers looked like they didnt want to be there. i had to pull them over on both visits to ask for more water, napkins, things they should be stopping by to check on. Truly dissapointed, enough to write this review. Don't waste your time. I'm telling you, it just wasnt up to snuff. Besides that, the one on 1265 Third was funky, dirty carpeting, looked like it is in need of a serious cleaning. The emp's unifirms looked terrible and no name tags on anyone!! I resorted to calling our guy "hey" the whole time. I will never go back. Truly a dissapointing experience.

Really Great Dinning. – Dallas BBQs is an amazing place to eat, it has great food and great prices, small seats, but if my 211 lb. butt can get into them, so can you. The service is always A #1. Check it out. Trust me, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
