I may have had the best burger I've ever tasted in my life at Doc Watson's. I went in as I usually do to order a nice bit of Fish-n-Chips when someone suggested I try the Moriarty. Against everything I would normally do I tried this burger and I'm so glad I did. It hit my taste buds in all the right ways and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants a good burger. Doc Watson's is going to absolutely be my new go to for when I need a good burger and I hope anyone reading this soon does the same.
I've honestly got to say that the service was amazing and that I've never had a better glass of beer before this day. I was immediately greeted at the door and felt welcomed, something you don't often see in New York mind you. The restaurant just gave me a great feeling all around and I plan to go back again as soon as tomorrow if I can. I hope everyone can eat at this great place.
Had the best birthday ever at Doc Watson's. A group of 15 of us drank and danced our butts off! I must admit, we were a bit loud but the servers and everyone that worked there were very patient with us. They even were really good about splitting up the checks. I think I'm doing this again next year.
Doc Watsons has a really good drink menu. I enjoy draft Guinness and they have it :) My friends and I come for lunch and enjoy happy hour on Fridays. I definitely start my weekends early thanks to Doc's
Every time I take a new friend to Doc Watson's, they always want to return. I can count on the restaurant for fresh, delicious food and some of the best drinks in New York City. No visit to Doc Watson's is complete without at least one pint of traditional Irish Guinness.
Thanks, Doc Watson's, for a memorable way to end my week. I look forward to visiting next Sunday night!
When friends come to visit me in New York City, I always recommend dining at Doc Watson's. The restaurant is a great place to experience Irish food, drinks and music. The menu is filled with classic Irish cuisine and American favorites. My favorite menu items are the Grilled Portobello Salad and the Breakfast Burger topped with bacon, cheese and a fried egg.
What happened to the atmosphere? – I used to go to docs a few times a week.. A few of the old bartenders just magically left and the remining ones were real shady about it. The past few times I've hung out thr it just wasn't the same . Lots of cocky attitudes and forced conversation. Service went down the drain and not to mention I ordered a stoli martini and got some kind of gin. Won't be goin back to my old neighborhhod bar anytime soon.
Great neighborhood pub – Usually frequent Doc Watson's for live sports. They always have a great crowd, fun bartenders and solid pub food. Thursday and Sunday nights they have live music and its just an overall good time.
Great Bartenders – Handsome friendly bartenders from Ireland. Need i say more?
