this place will do if you don't wanna go to Queens – If you don't wanna go all the way to Queens, this place will do. The kare kare had good flavor and the meat was tender. The "bicol express" which had shrimp and pork lacked the spice I was expecting and the pork was pretty tough. The halo halo was so so...actually it was borderline disappointing. I thought the service was good and the owner or the manager was nice enough to check on us and ask us how everything was. We told her about the pork and she said she'd let the cook know. Overall my experience was OK. I'd be willing to give them another try. Their menu was pretty extensive so they have plenty more chances to impress or disappoint me.
