TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE – Do not come here! They ruined a very expensive piece of merchandise and never apologized or took any responsibility. The owner refused to return my calls despite leaving repeated messages. It says a lot about a company when they make a mistake but then offer no apology or take any accountability for it. Go somewhere else!!!!

Meurice is the best! – I've been using Meurice for 10 years now and they have always done a perfect job. They are the only place I would take a silk ball gown or an expensive pair of crepe pants. Even so, I was very surprised that they could revive a white silk blouse that I had sweated into while dancing. There were lots of stains and the cuffs were grimy. I considered just throwing it away, but the blouse was expensive and it was one of my favorites. I was looking for a miracle, so I took it to Meurice.

I particularly like how the clerk at Meurice examines the stains to ascertain what they will be working with,- they take stains very seriously! I was very surprised when the blouse came back looking like new. It looks like it has never been worn!

Yes, Meurice is expensive. If you have a cheap wool coat to be cleaned at the end of the season, then take it to a cheap cleaner. But for your clothes that are beautiful and expensive,- clothes that you have invested time and money in shopping for,- then take them to Meurice.

A Cleaner that Goes Above and Beyond! – I am a long time customer of Meruice, and in that period of time I have only good things to say about them. I came in with jackets, dress pants, ties, shirts, my wife even had he wedding dress cleaned here, and through all this I have not one complaint. I became a customer after being recommend to them from a friend, and continued to stay with them after years of great results.

Excellent Service!!! – I came to Meurice after getting numerous recommendations from friends that Meurice does a great job on cleaning expensive garments. So I decided to see for myself, and I'm happy to say that my friends were certainly right. Meurice handled all my garments with extreme care and they all came back flawlessly. I would recommended Meurice to anyone who has valuable clothing that needs cleaning.

BEWARE! THEY BURNED MY HUSBAND'S FAVORITE SHIRT!!! – BEWARE! They ruined my husband's favorite shirt, color light, faded purple. He stained it with coffee, so I found 'professionals' who would fix it. I paid $35 and change to dry clean it, I usually pay $8/shirt, but this one was special and expensive $300, I wanted to make sure the stains were completely gone. However, when I got the shirt back, it was folded, so I did not even see if the stains were gone, but the shirt's collar was covered in black polka dots in random places, which looked as if the material was very hard pressed, melted, burned (it was pressed so hard that the collar was as thin as a piece of paper!!!). It looked awful and literally burned. They picked the shirt up from me to take a look, and for 2 days nobody called me back. I called myself and was speaking to a manager Levy through a receptionist. He said it looked to him like a pattern and was probably part of the original design. I explained it was not a pattern and not part of the design, it looked burned. I bought the exact same shirt for my father in M size, and it is not even a question, the burned dots is not the design on this shirt. I spent over $35 to dry clean it, because it was our favorite, and they completely ruined it. I just cannot believe it. Today I was told that the owner will call me tomorrow. I want to hear what he has to say. But if you care about your things, do not use this company, because as others mentioned here as well, they press shirts the wrong way. I am very upset.

Meurice Garment Care baby stroller cleaning is amazing!! – After 14 months of wear and tear by Babies stroller needed a cleaning. Living in a NYC apartment I don’t have what it takes to clean a stroller so I contacted Maurice's Stroller Cleaning unit. The overall handling and "white glove service" was fantastic and more importantly the bugaboo orange stroller now looks brand new!! I swear they swapped it out for a brand new stroller as I never imaged it would look this good when I got it back !!!

In fact not only does the stroller look brand new it actually handles and operates better! It wheels smoother and the break is tighter...

What an amazing job!! Thanks for the great service Meurice Garment Care on Baby Luke’s Stroller Cleaning !!!

DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR WEDDING DRESS (Part1) – I had my wedding dress dry cleaned and altered at Meurice Garment Care. They did a wonderful job! The dress was cleaned well, the bustle and fit of the dress was just right. They fixed the holes.

Hence, I entrusted them with additional alterations since I was pleased with their service and work.

I told them during my fitting (after alterations and drycleaning) that I was thinking about adding buttons, and a bow to the dress to the back of my dress. The tailor said "No problem. Order the buttons, and I will be glad to add them for you." I was very excited, I went home to order the buttons.

I come to the store with the buttons and the tailor says" It's all finished! You don't have to try it own. Just take it home. Its perfect." I was shocked at that moment, buttons in hand. I had taken time researching and order buttons online. He did not have my consent to add them. It was no miscommunication that he told me to get buttons for him. He was in not way doing me a favor by telling me to order buttons, then add them on without my confirmation (as we were only contemplating on if and where we should add buttons). Before i arrived at the store, the receptionist at the desk and I exchanged emails on how excited we were to see how it (the buttons I bought) would turn out and how we would go about putting on a bow. It seems she did not know what her tailor had done. The tailor said, "Take it and go. We have a lot of wedding dresses back there." Although they wanted me to pay for alterations in which I did not confirm on, I left without paying and we settled that matter.

Excellent Drapery Cleaning! – Meurice Garment Care came on a day's notice and took down and cleaned my 15 year old drapes. When they put them back up they looked like new. They did a fantastic job and could not have been nicer.

Fabulous Dry Cleaners – Meurice is really fantastic -- I was immediately drawn to them after reading about the other reviews on Citysearch. I have gotten IMPOSSIBLE stains and wrinkles on shirts, and Meurice never ceases to amaze me. They are always right on top of things.

These dry cleaners brought life back into my clothes... and the alterations they did were spot-on. Plus, it helps that the gentlemen there are always neatly dressed, well-spoken, and knowledgeable about all of their services.

Miracle Workers – My lovely Ligne Roset sofa bed had been rendered hideous by my beautiful dogs rolling on it and making it extremely filthy. I'd tried other cleaners to little benefit and fearing that I'd blown my chances by having already had it dry cleaned. however Meurice pulled a rabbit out of a hat and I now have my sofa bed cover back in thoroughly presentable condition. They cautioned that it would not look like new and it looks "gently worn" which is a miracle for a 10 year old bit of upholstery that had truly gone to the dogs.
