unbelievably horrific – ordered delivery from here - food showed up 2 hours after i ordered and 45 minutes after i cancelled the order. the manager had the nerve to wonder why i was upset and why i didn't think i needed to pay for food when i was long gone from my apartment when it eventually showed.

Terrible! – Even though we had plenty of drinks at the table, the manager and waiters started hovering and trying to kick us out after an hour - when the restaurant was EMPTY! They were incredibly rude and had no reason to want us to leave - we were quiet and the restaurant was literally half empty. The drinks are also gross!

The nachos were greasier than need be and getting water refills was like pulling teeth. Not going back, the restaurant Cilantro is MUCH better!

Private and Comfortable – Me and the boo went here for Valentines Day and there was a wait - just like every where else that day. But at least we got a chance to sit by the bar and have a few drinks until our table was ready. The drinks were really good, sangria was SLAMMIN (got a lil buzz) the price was average. Its suppose to be a 'Mexican' spot but they seem to fancy for me. The food was more decor than tasty but all we had were some appetizers. The quesadillas were so so, I hated the Guacamole... this is suppose to be a Mexican spot that Guacamole should be one of the best thing on the menu, this turned me off but the calamari was delicious. The total bill came to $100, which I think was rather cheap for the Patron shots and cups of sangria we had. Service was good but like I mentioned before it was V-Day and they were pretty bussy. Nice spot to go on a date or chill with a few homies.

good drinks good price – Highly recomend this bar speacially the drinks . Happy hour never stops, good music, good chips y salsa, good guacamole side and good bartender. The bartender really took care of me as always buying me drinks back. Good friend and funny guy, very entertaining ,dances behind the bar (only when he drinks, that's a shame because he is muy lindo). Keep the good work Cuba.

really really far from awesome – I just move to the UWS and i'm trying to find a good mexican restaurant in the area. After reading the mixed reviews from Rancho's i decided to give it a shot. Besides what the other review said the cuban guy at the bar is not entertaining at all ,maybe for spanish speaking customers but he didn't understand my orders at all. My margarita was only sour mix and ice and my friend order a strawberry daiquiri and he gave her a strawberry margarita. After that we finally move to a table, the chips and salsa are so small and cold. My appetizers came together with my entree. The plate was hot but the food was cold. Our drinks took forever and took a long time after we finish for the waiter notice us again. When the check finally came everything over there was really overprice.Never again.

BEST MARGARITAS!!! – It's giant frozen margaritas are the best on the upper west side. The food is fresh and fair portions. My boyfriend and I are mexican food lovers and theirs is very tasty. So I highly recommend it and don't forget to get their made to order guacamole.

worst restaurant ever – How can i start about this place, the bartender took half an hour to notice my presence not because he was busy but because he was talking to somebody. The bartender was nice but he didn't understand english. The margarita had more ice than anything else and that for only $10. $ 10 for only ice is to much.Poor service and loud music.

AWFUL SERVICE, mediocre food, bad atmosphere – i'm amazed this place has good reviews - that is, until i realized nearly all of the glowing recommendations were by people who had ranked only one place. yeah, i think it's obvious that the rave reviews were written by "plants" and/or racho staffers.

anyway, the service here was AWFUL - our food took forever, we did not see our waitress again after we ordered (i had to stop another server just to ask someone for our check) and we couldn't even get someone to fill our glasses with water. wtf?

the food was mediocre at best - what kind of mexican place rations its chips and salsa into infant-sized portions? entrees were okay in taste but pretty skimpy in terms of portions.

oh yeah, the atmosphere sucked - super, super loud and obnoxious. not that i mind that per se, but this place needs to make up it mind as to whether it's a "nicer" resaurant or more sports-bar/festive in nature. regardless, it needs new management and servers who give at least 1/2 a sh*t about the patrons. i'll be back there again around never o'clock...
