Best boutique hotel – My husband and I have a tradition of satying here for our anniversary every year. The staff is always accomodating and friendly. Not sure, but I think it bacame under new management within the past few years. But quality is the same. Dissappointed with the breakfast. Overhaul, very happy here.

Neat as a PIN – While the room we stayed in was rather small and the lighting dim it was nonetheless comfortable and quite clean with a splendid bathroom. The staff at all levels are most courteous and helpful. The location is excellent there being numerous excellent lounges in the near vicinity as well as within the hotel itself.

We would probably come back again but would sneak in a higher voltage light bulb for our room.

Spacious rooms in venerable surroundings. – The Scene
What this hotel lacks in a lobby it makes up for with its service and guest rooms. The intimate entryway provides just enough space for bellboys to whisk away luggage; the check-in desk leads to a pair of elevators that whisk guests upstairs. The neighborhood is an important part of staying here. Several venerated institutions, including the Harvard Club, the New York Bar Association and the Algonquin surround the hotel, which is buffered by newer attractions such as savvy hipster spot, the Royalton.

The Details
Transformed and upgraded, the 114 spacious accommodations are decorated in soft white and natural tones. Beds sport Frette linens, and the bathrooms are done in marble. Nothing has been spared in the amenities department. Dual-line telephones with data ports, TVs, VCRs and CD players are all on hand. Triomphe restaurant does a good job providing decent food and service without pretension.

The restaurant is not to be missed! – I give the Iroquois the highest ratings in all categories, but two ought to be emphasized. The location and the restaurant - called Triopmphe. They seem to have one of the most crteative chefs in New York, and the atmosphere is quiet and elegant. In fact, I'd say only go there if you genuinely want to enjoy the company of those you are dining with.

Terrific Hotel – I had an enjoyable 2-night stay at the Iroquois. The room was beautifully appointed and included many creature comforts. Like the extra soft linens, luxurious terry robe, Belgian chocolates, CD player, cable TV including HBO, high speed internet and NY Times. The lively central location was so accessible to everything New York, that I walked everywhere, at all hours. The lovely new marble bathroom and hot shower was always a welcome nearby respite. As was a hotel laptop and printer was available in the hotel library. I repeatedly used it for quick email or tourist info.

Great hotel! – I recently visited New York for the first time and stayed at the Iroquois. It's a beautiful hotel, great lobby, nice rooms and friendly concierge. It was right in the middle of Manhattan so I was able to walk everywhere.
