Fantastic! – Went there for the 1st time tonight; fantastic food (try the cold seafood app), very good service and nice atmosphere; and reasonably priced.

A Hidden Treasure in the MetLife Bldg – This is a great restaurant in every way, great food at an affordable price, friendly professional service and a beautiful, bright atmosphere.

My two 3 years olds love to eat here.

Every major city should have a train-station restaurant like this. – The Scene
You won't find choo-choo memorabilia here; rather, the brasserie-like dining room is a sparkling expanse done in shades of beige with high-backed banquettes, a gleaming open kitchen and a fireplace where chickens twirl. Next door to the main dining room is a sleek beer bar. The staff is well-trained and hard-working.

The Food
The French-tinged menu changes daily, but a consistently good way to start is with one of the more exotic dishes, such as the bisteeya (a sweetish but nicely textured Moroccan chicken-and-phyllo pie enhanced with almonds, raisins and orange-flower essence) or the tasty vegetable couscous. Other winners among main courses include the simple roasted chicken with pan juices and mashed potatoes and the loin of pork with braised red cabbage and apples.

looks like cafeteria.. – i went there for NY restaurant week and had lunch.

it was very good food and a portion was big. i had sea scallop salad, cod and chocolate cake. good quality. but the inside of the restaurant gives you a feeling of cheap cafeteria... i just felt strange. just try to imagine many well dressed people having power lunch in cafeteria... they could have worked on their choice of furniture and how to decorate the restaurant. but again, the food was great.

Got To Try The Creme Brule! – Cafe Centro offers a very nice decor to compliment their food. The kitchen is viewable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the steak and it was pretty good, but the fries that came with it were rather soggy. As for desert, I must say I had the best vanilla creme brule at Cafe Centro. The creme brule had a chocolate dough crust, it was just so good. Make sure you get the Botrytis Semillon as a desert wine.

a bit pricey, but great food – I went for a dinner here because I got a $50 certificate from DineOut NY for my birthday. I decided on this place out of the 8 places available based on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. My husband and I had a lovely and tasty dinner. My husband, who normally does not like venturing out for dinner, enjoyed his meal immensely. The seafood chowder was excellent (we both had it), his prime rib was perfect, my jumbo crab cakes were yummy, and our creme brulees were delightful treats. Including my ginger ale and his merlot, we only ended up paying $65 (including tip) after using the coupon.

One of the best dining experiences ever – This was undoubtedly one of the best meals I've had in this city. We made reservations, and arrived around 9 p.m. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very romantic, with comfortable lighting, great decor, and a fireplace. I ordered the chicken, and it was very delicious. My friend ordered salmon, and was also extremely satisfied. Our aperitifs were complementary, and also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The price tag was around $50 for two without liquor.

Great Fish, Fun Crowd, Nice Staff – The food fresh and perfectly prepared. The crowd seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere and the staff was knowledgeable and chose the perfect wines.
