HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!. I recently purchased a chandelier and a few fixtures from my home. The sales people where very knowledgable and patient with me, and I felt they gave me a good price. My order was delivered pretty quickly to my house and they helped me install it. I ended up needed a couple more items, and the head of customer service Claudine was so sweet and helpful. Great store, highly recommended!!
Did my whole house at lighting world and my god what a good job they did. Customer service was # 1 and THE BEST PRICES!!!. i recommend everyone to check it out.
Horrible customer service/selection – Do not purchase from this business. I ordered lights for basically every room in my house from this place. None of our items were in stock at the time of purchase and they assured us that we would have our items in 10 days. 10 days turned into 3+ months. We ordered a chandelier, received it 2 months later, in the wrong color (their error) they reordered it, a month later picked it up and it was AGAIN in the wrong color. Then they told us that the color we ordered doesn't even exist!! I basically call this place everyday to check on my order since they never call me back. I truly would never purchase from here again and would never recommend to anyone. I honestly do not know how they remain in business. The best is one of the employees told me I can email him with any lights I am interested in and he could see if they can order them for me. I emailed him a chandelier I really want and he emails back and writes the best way to order is to see if they can get it. I wanted to scream! NEVER AGAIN.
customer service sucks – this place does have a huge selection of all manner of lights and ceiling fans, but their customer service is horrible. I will not shop there again. the day we bought 3 ceiling fans, our helper was Joseph, who only keeps his job because he's the owner's son. he was extremely in our faces-- we couldn't look at anything without him being on top of us telling us about it. he also asked us our style, and when we told him we really liked modern and these lights over here, he said, "oh those are nice, let me show you what I like," and took us to some French country stuff totally not our style. He didn't listen at all. He also only spoke to my husband, so much so that at the end, he shook my husband's hand and introduced himself to him, without even a glance in my direction (even though I was the one paying).
The most annoying thing, however, was that 2 of the 3 fans we bought were not in stock. Joseph told us 10 days and they would call us. 2 weeks go by and no phone call. My husband calls and they tell him they'll be in in 2 days. He calls back in 2 days and someone else tells him that one of the fans is back-ordered, something we had never heard about in over 2 weeks. Basically, they kept putting off when our fans were in repeatedly until 10 days turned into 1 month. In all that time, no one called us-- it was always my husband calling them. they did give us a 10% discount in the end, but they delay held up our house renovation. skip it-- there are other lighting places with better salesmen and customer service.
