The Robinson Brothers Story -How it all Started...Mackie and Chip Robinson welcome you to Robinson Brothers Ford, one of the largest volume Ford dealers in the entire Gulf South Region.
The roots of Robinson Brothers Inc. started in 1946 when founder Maxwell Robinson, Sr. began his automotive career by opening a service station in Denham Springs. A Kaiser-Fraiser factory representative challenged Mr. Robinson to sell a vehicle he had with him and, much to the representatives surprise, it was sold the next day.
This won Mr. Robinson a franchise with Kaiser-Fraiser, which has evolved into our current franchises with Ford Motor Company. Robinson Brothers Ford and Robinson Brothers Lincoln. The business was moved from the original franchise on downtown Main Street in Denham Springs to the present location at Airline and Sherwood Forest/Siegen Lane.
Maxwell Robinson, Sr. was active in daily management of Robinson Brothers, Inc. until 1993.
In 1993, Maxwell Robinson, Jr. (Mackie) took over as General Manager "
Sneaky, conniving, untrustworthy – Nothing but lies and bull$@# from their service department so far. Bought a used car without noticing a minor defect, which is unsightly and very costly and troublesome to repair. I talked to the used car salesman the next day, and he acted concerned and convinced me to let their service department take a look at it to diagnose it.
Service advised it would cost about $300 to fix. They promised to investigate the problem just to be sure what was going on, that there wasn
Customer care? Fail! – The finance manager here screwed up EVERY bit of paper work. If he had wanted to there was not another piece he couldn't have put wrong address or wrong names on, that is write, my vehicle has paper work registered to others. He put all warranties and even ownership of the $30,000 vehicle I bought and am paying for under my co-signers name. When the issue was recognized 2 days after the sale I went to them and they refused to even consider changing things other than the extended warranty and they would only change that for a $75 fee. When I discussed this with Mr. Savage, the business manager, he responded that it was not his problem. Foo on you! You do not care about your customers, but we do have a voice! I hope you realize the potential customers you will lose by screwing over others.
it took 2months to get my truck repaired – i broke down in may 18th. towed my truck to this dealer. when i got my truck back 2 months later. i had to get more repairs done. i was yelled at by the service manger. treatedd very rudely by the caisher. i had to fly from fl. to pick my truck up to only get it back to jacksonville ,fl . to drop it off at the dealer here . when i picked my truck up they left food in side. spilled drinks on the floor. parts was left in the back of the truck. damage to my right fender. and my drivers side hub cap was damaged. i paid $3,200.00 to now have to shell out more money for repairs.they have not offred me anything for my troubles . i called the owner over and over he will not call u back!
