Worst. Blowout. Ever. – Wow. I can't even say how disappointed I am. I had to be up in Suffern very early Saturday for an event, so I wasn't going to have time enough to have my hair blown out in Brooklyn where I live. When someone offered to make an appointment for me here, I thought, well a blow out is easy enough - no one could really screw that up and I'll have a trim as well, so my ends will be really sleek. My hair is curly, but not crazy curly and not particularly thick so it's pretty easy to blowout and I've had some people do an amazing job with just a blow dryer.

For some reason, with a blow dryer AND a flat iron and 45 minutes longer than what they told me the appointment was going to take, Trisha could not get my hair smooth. I was trying to be optimistic but even sitting in the chair my hair didn't look good.

As for the trim, she didn't even trim all my layers. It doesn't even look like I had it cut at all. No fresh edges. The blow out which I told her had to last into the night because I was going out again, didn't even last an hour -- but wasn't good to begin with. So needless to say, as I'm looking at the pictures from the event, I can say I had a great dress, great shoes, great jewelry, but I didn't look good because my hair looked lousy. We all know how great we feel when our hair looks bad! No shape, no style, rough and frizzy like I had just rolled out of bed and run my fingers through my hair.

My opinion: waste of money. I'm irritated because my hair would have looked better if I had just done it myself.

Since the review has gone on long enough, I hesitate to even mention that my mother who also had her hair done here, said her haircut looked like a helmet. My niece's hair looked kind of cute immediately when she left the salon, but by 2 hours into the morning her hair had almost completely lost it's shape & style!!

Sigh.
