great service...I was hesitant about going there for contacts after reading mskin's review... but since i lived nearby - i figured I'd give it a shot... I had a very thorough exam and purchased contact lenses from them... a week later I was having a problem.. I went back and they refit me... 2 weeks later I still had a problem... I went back again, and again they gave me a diff brand... and didn't charge me for their time... I can see so clearly now...I can understand the patient mskim being upset ... but be real... most items you buy have a 30 or 90 day warranty... 6 months is pushing it...

I highly recommend park west vision, the service was fantastic !!

the Dr. and Staff were most accommodating to me...

I went back and bought a very cool pair of sunglasses too,and they were pretty inexpensive compared to other optical stores in the neighborhood... a great value for a cool pair of sunglasses... !

Wonderful, professional service – I have been living in this neigborhood for a few years now and have now been getting my annual exams at Park West Vision. I also send my husband here. The staff are professional, nice and they run an efficient practice. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes and the doctor is very friendly. He's been working in the neighborhood for decades and you can tell. I question Wloplaz's response about $800 frames. I have never seen such frames and I should know because I always try on practically every set of frames (which the staff are patient and happy to let me do). No, they are not pushy and their interest is for you to get the services you need. This is the type of wonderful neighborhood medical practice that will look out for your vision needs.

Totally Unprofessional – DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTOR AND STAFF. Very pushy Doctor and staff (aka salespersons) their only interest is to make you buy piece of crap frames at a very high price. They price frames $800-$900 and give you a $400 discount.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Dr Capetola is excellent – Dr. Capetola picked up on several eye problems for me and a family member that no other medical professional took seriously. He is one of the few medical professionals I have any respect for.

really nice frames – just moved toWindsor terrace and recently bought glasses here.

They carry all the really nice stuff like Coach, Prada , Dior etc... and the prices were better tha I've seen in the city.

Lots of the frames are visible in the great holiday window displays..

This place is worth visiting just to see the beaautiful windows !!

Thanks to Dr. Capetola and Scott for a great eyeglass shopping experience.

Friendly, professional service – I've been going to Dr. Capetola for 6 years now, even when I moved to Manhattan I still came to Park West Vision for eye exams and contacts. Dr. Capetola is friendly, professional and patient with questions. If there's something wrong with my glasses or contacts, they fix the problem or send you a different pair of contacts without question. I never had trouble with my insurance with them and never waited more than 20 minutes for my appointment, even on Saturdays.

Great customer service, very professional – I was having problems with my contacts when I first visited and was given a very thorough exam. They were friendly and professional during all my visits. I have twin 1 year olds who I had to take with me, The receptionist was great, and kept them occupied while I was in my appointment. The Dr. checked my Rx but because it was a recent Rx from another store, and didn't need changing he didn't charge me the full amount - a very reasonable thing to do.

Everything you don't want in a doctor – They take my insurance. I verified it online; I verified it with the insurance company, I called back and forth and was sent in circles, but they still gave me trouble. Now, I just want the insuracnce discount on the exam and I am willing to be a very fashionable consumer who'll generally drop more money than I should on the frames, but they were so diffiuclt with this. It's hard enough coping with insurance companies these days, but for your doctors to give a patient so much trouble. How can you trust that? How can they treat good customers so poorly?

Additionally they gave me trouble when I went to order contact lenses online. I realize this is making Opticians a little bummed -- the purchasing of lenses online taking from their business -- but come on now, we are your patients and we are your customers who pay a pretty penny for the glasses we purchase from you.

So -- in my book this is everything I would not want in an Optician and in any doctor. I'm too busy to be bogged down with this kind of nonsense. There are plenty more Opticians out there. Don't bother with these ones. If I could give zero stars I would, because zero dollars is what I'll ever give this place, moving forward.

easy on my eyes – have been a customer here for three years, and they have been nothing short of fantastic! I have always taken my frames there to be reshaped or to have screws replaced, and they have done it quickly and free of charge. I recently purchased a new pair of frames, and they spent twenty minutes helping me pick out something flattering for my face shape-- I appreciate the great customer service they offer. A great place to go if you are looking for service

six month trial – MSKIM is mad because she waited 6 months to complain about her contact lenses..well after the warrantee period for custom lenses. What she was being charged for was professional time, not materials.

AS for streaky AR coatings, well, we use ONLY Pentax and Crizal, the industry best. Yes, they sometimes are defective..but are covered LIFETIME for defects!

This reply is being made this way because only businesses that PAY for Citisearch are allowed to respond to reviews..is that honest??
