DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE – What a scam!!! My sister was given a $190 gift card and when she showed up to ther scheduled appointment she was told that she had to pay UPFRONT a 39 dollar TIP per person. When my sister refused to pay a tip for a service that had not been rendered, she wa stold point blank the she was going to lose the $190!!!! What a mafia!!!!! Imagine having to tip before getting an already paid-service. We will contact BBB and of course a few TV channels!!! FACEs will never see a penny from us of from any of my friends!!!! Shame on them!!!
Jen is a Gem! – I have been going to Faces for many years and have always had my color done by Jennifer. She has really grown over the years and has become an expert at blonde highlights. She is great at listening and giving her own input, and my color is soft, natural and pretty, and my hair is not damaged. Jen really cares about you being happy and takes her time. I have also had her dye my hair brown and the color is always vibrant and shiny. Not only is she talented but she is a sweetheart, and I highly recommend her!
Lisa also gives great cuts!
Guys ….. You are the best....... – Great place, great haircut, great prices. I had been coloring and cutting my hair for years and to be honest I didn't have such a great job. It's a friendly place and the staff is very pleasant and they seem to work well together. The atmosphere and professionalism here is unparalleled. The salon it self is very open and pleasant, and the music is great. There are enough products to satisfy any need, be it for hair, skin, or scent. They have all my favorite product lines, and they've introduced me to some great new ones. I will certainly tell my friends :) Guys ….. You are the best
GREAT PLACE !!!!!!!! – This is a truly great place to get your hair cut ……..
I am so happy with it! It was my first time ever getting my hair colored professionally. I was looking for something a little edgier than usual but still work-safe.
Lisa gave me a fantastic haircut….and did a fabulous job… I told her exactly what I wanted and she took it one step further, which left me with a super stylish cut that is easy to maintain. The salon has great style, perceptive staff….. I will be back!
I just Heard!!! – I just heard Lisa is BACK!!! Thank god! My friends and I have been looking for her. We have called periodically to see if she had returned, but was disappointed. I saw her on the Avenue and in fact she is back. Can't wait to get a WAY overdue haircut!!
COMPLETELY DEVASTATED – I have never been so horrified from a haircut in my life!!!
I started going, back in January of 2009 and got my haircut from Lisa. The haircut was so-so because my hair was completely damaged from trying to grow out a haircut that took forever to grow out. I went back in February 2010 and the job Lisa did was fantastic. She ACTUALLY listened to what I wanted. I had just gotten engaged and was trying to grow out my hair for my August 2010 wedding. She did some styling and managed to get my hair looking healthy after 3 years of it not and still managed to keep it sort of long.
I wasn't the type to maintain my hair every few months but after that haircut i decided i needed to keep that rule and so on Sunday i decided to make an appt and found out that Lisa (my hair savior) wasn't working there anymore. I was completely devastated but didn't have a choice so i was given the option of going with someone who was just starting out for a certain price and a seasoned professional for a higher price. I didn't want to take the risk of getting a bad trim by someone just starting out so i said i'll go with a pro.
I was given Princess. i was rest assured she would be more than capable of giving a good trim.
So I told her what I wanted, i had informed her of my getting married very soon and needed to keep my length, just needed a little cleaning up. I had also informed her that i have been growing my hair out for the last 3 years and that i never blow dry my hair anymore. Evrything was going fine and she's talking to me about "bridal packages" and blah blah blah and she blows my hair nicely and i get out of the chair and notice that it seems a bit short but figured it looked like that the last time i got my hair cut. I told her its short and shes like "no it just seems that way because of the curls at the bottom" i said well its only going to be shorter because my hair is never straight anymore and she insisted it looked fine.
The real test was when i washed my hair last night and waited for it to dry. Well in all my life i have never been more devasted from my hair. The haircut that I was so patiently trying to grow out was once again my nightmare. She just chopped my hair right off. I came in for a trim and lost half my length(approx 5") in Princess's chair. Tell me what am I supposed to do to maintain this now?
If she was less focused on giving me "bridal packages" and more focused on giving me what I actually wanted I wouldn't be in this horrible nightmare. Never have I cried so hard from a damn haircut but when i spent 3 years of my life trying to get rid of it, how else am i supposed to react?
I need Lisa!!! Where is she????
anyone know her #?
Love the color, Not the haircut – I love Chave, she is the best haircolorist. And I can prove this, I tried dying my own hair in an effort to save money due to economy, I ended up with 3 shades in my hair, including a very very difficult to remove black color. I went to Chave. My color is absolutely beautiful. I wanted a brown base with very golden caramel highlights. Something that would definitely complement my olive skin. Its beautiful I love it!!!!! Luv it! Luv it! Then she recommended I go to Princess for a hair cut. Princess is super nice, but she cuts waaaaay too much hair. I've had my hair cut twice and each time I'm dissapointed with the length. Especially since I"m trying to grow my hair long for my wedding. Don't get me wrong, the cut was great but all I wanted was a trim. So I'll get my trims elsewhere and just go to Princess when I really want a good haircut.
I’m happy with this salon.!!!!!!!! – This place is fantastic. I've been looking for a solid neighborhood salon for some time and I finally found it! I love coming here. Everyone is super friendly and very good at what they do. Lisa was my stylist and she gave me a stylish cut and did a fantastic job. My hair still looks great. I have never been disappointed by my haircuts and I have recommended this place to two of my very picky friends and everyone be now obsessed.
WONDERFUL SERVICES ............. – I have finally found a salon and a colorist that I want to go back to. Everyone who works there is so nice and the place has great energy. Many of the stylists & colorists working at Faces salon and spa but I choose to see Lisa & Jennifer. Lisa is absolutely the best!!!!!!! She is talented as she is gorgeous She really listens to what you want and talks to you throughout the haircut to make sure you get exactly what you want. Jennifer..... she is amazing. She made me feel so relaxed that I actually forgot that I was having my color done. I am so happy with my new hair color and I can’t wait to go back for a hair cut and deep conditioning treatment. The atmosphere at the salon is very friendly and non pretentious and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a high end experience with a low key attitude.
Could have went better... – I'm generally not used to different people doing my coloring and my haircut, but I can understand that if the person who colors your hair is specialized.
I got an appointment without an issue and asked for Lisa seeing as there has been good feedback posted. She seemed attentive and listened to my request. I have a situation where I have a lot of hair, I mean A LOOOT. Its heavy, its long, it falls out in clutches because of the weight. I wanted to grow it out, but understood that that will be impossible without getting the thickness out of it. Long story short, after my hair has been cut and dried I still have a LOT of hair. I'm certain she is very knowledgeable, but when someone asks you to go ahead and chop away in heavy layers, I'd be more than happy. Usually this is done in sections working their way from up top to the bottom, but I understand everyone has their own style, I only care for the end result. I looked in the mirror standing sideways after and could see the layers, but they seemed only at the top portion of my hair. The bottom was still very much thick. All I needed was to cut INTO the hair and make noticeable layers, but all I got was shorter hair and topical layers. Maybe its just my hair, but obviously this place is not for me. Now off to wait another 6 months to have my hair grow out to the same length it was before....
