Make sure you ASK how much everything costs! – No prices on alcohol and deserts, and when the check arrives....you're going to pay BIG TIME!
They charged me $18.50!!!! for Kenafe desert with 1 scoop of ice cream(when the desert waiter comes with the desert tray there is no mentioning of any prices), $13!!!! for Bacardi & coke and $10 for Heineken Bottle....The St peter fish was quite good but comes with no side dishes, which will cost an extra $8 and they added all sort of hidden fees on my bill that i didn't like at all.
Will not recommend this place!
Rip off – Deserts and drinks, very expensive.... $9 for a mediocre piece of cheese cake, and $3 for each 12 ounce can of coke. The wait staff walked around with there noses up in the air, very cocky waitstaff.
I only give this place to stars because the food is good. The decor is ok, service sucks and be ready to get ripped off on any drinks or deserts you buy.
rip offfffff don't go – I went there with my friends everybody had a Fish it was ok one large salad, bottle water two desert four tea check we got was for $238 service wasn't that great place is rip offff not recommended
depends on what you order – my fish was great, my husbands fish was lousy. Don't order anything fried. I would go back for the salad and the tilapia
What is the good food served with... – The food is good, the kebabs, the fish.
The Turkish waiters are ,,, not.
I was just harrassed there today, after leaving a 10 % tip. Was pretty much slammed with the bill into my face with the words " where is my 15% tip". Honestly, I was not really prepared for the harrassment, and I always believed the tips for the waiter are the gratuity, whatever You want to thank him with. Especially if almost a third of a bill was spent on the beverages ( yes, they are quite pricey, almost 50 bucks for a glass of juice, bottle of sparkling water, and some wine).
To which, I was pretty much told in face that I am a cheap ..... Just to think of it...and I used to like going there... well, You folks decide for Yourself,,,, Exactly, how much harrassment are You ready to take for the price of the good Saint Peter's fish?
Definitely worth a trip to Brooklyn – We found this place by accident, and we are SO glad we did. I was a little afraid when I walked in and all they were playing was Turkish music and the decor was rugged. That was followed by sticker shock but since I was on the strip, I should have expected it, even though the season has been over for a while.
Servers were very friendly, very helpful and always aware of your every need. The food took some time, but since we ordered many different kinds (fish, sea food and red meats) it was normal and they managed to served all properly cooked and at the right temperature. Everything was SO delicious that we found ourselves digging on each others plates for tasting's. If you read my reviews, you'll see that I'm crazy for steaks, and this was one of the best ones I tried in NY. Yes, THAT good, and with a pink line in the middle just as I requested it. The only disappointing thing of the whole experience was to find out that they are a seasonal restaurant ready to close until next summer, so I'll have to wait to enjoy their food.
fantastic fish – the decor may not be the best but the food is excellent. we had many of the salads and sides to start and we each had a different fish. the service was great and parking was a breeze. great for small or large groups they accomodate all. i am becoming a regular here!
