Good Food, Bad Service – service bad, wrong order, ugly look, i will not go there again.
good food but rushed sub par service – The food is good. As good as some other casual dining places of the same price. My reservation was 3 days in advance. When I arrived, only my family and a large party, which took up well over half the space of the dining room were present. Gifts were spread over a few tables and the noise that would normally accompany such a group. Seating with the group would be uncomfortable and we would need to yell to be heard. So my other choice was a table by the restrooms. I would have left but This was for a 90+ relative's birthday so options are limited. The extent of their concern for my complaints was offering to move the table another foot from the restrooms. We were recited specials before drinks arrived. We were asked for our order before appetizers arrived. I had to repeatedly tell them to stop rushing my group. It stopped somewhere around the fourth time. Which they took as stop service completely. So I had to chased them for everything else. After voicing my issues with them I expected some peace offering. A drink on the house maybe. Not a free meal but something to indicate they recognized the issue. Nothing. Not even a thanks for coming at the door on the way out.
I do not doubt other reviewers who like Primo I simply will not spend hundreds of dollars again at a restaurant that seemed at best indifferent.
Best Italian Restaurant in Town – My husband and I have been going to Primo Amore for 15+ years. Not once have we ever gotten a bad meal. The food is fantastic, the service wonderful and the place is more than comfortable. We will never go to another Italian restaurant again. We celebrate all special occasions there. Try it just once and you will be hooked also.
Perfect for Parties – I recently held a baby shower party here and I must say the staff was BEYOND helpful. They fullfilled every request with courtesy and haste. The restaurant itself is very elegantly decorated. The only con was not being able to use the entire room unless 50 plates were purchased (I only purchased 32) so the space was a little cramp. Every guest complimented the food, I vow for the grilled Salmon with lemon and butter sauce. I would definitely host party here again.
