Greatest Service and Peace of Mind – I've been a customer of Martino Auto Body for the past fifteen years and every time i've used them they have exceeded my greatest expectations. Last month, I had a major accident with my Toyota - the front end and the rear end were severely damaged. I lost my job and was very short on money and not only did they save me money but they fixed the rear free of charge. Anyone who says that they don't have their customers best interest in mind or that it is necessary to have a "fancy" car to obtain good service, is sadly mistaken. I would recommend them to anyone.
High Price Rip off's – I'm a single mother of three living on the east end of Long Island. One night I had car trouble and my vehicle broke down. The local police dept called Martinos to tow my car off the LIE. The driver towed my car all the way to my house. . I did not have the money on me for the price of the tow which was 250.00 . . .who has that kind of money on them at 5am?? The truck driver said he could not leave the car unless i had the money...I even spoke to a Johnny whom said he was the owner. I pleaded with him to let the driver leave the car...but he refused. The truck driver took my car back to there shop which was in Nassau County. The next day I spoke to Johnny again. He talked me into having the car fixed at his shop. He said he would give me a good deal...and even commented on how " Italians have to stick together" . . .promising the car would be fixed. He took my car apart fixing it for the next three weeks.. He charged me 500.00 to repair my blown clutch. When I recieved the car back I found in the trunk the transmission in pieces.
This company is a rip off.....And if "Johnny" was the real owner .....he has alot to learn in business. What kind of family owned business would do this to a single mother of three. I had such a bad experience with this company that I wanted to let others know so they dont get ripped off as i did. I suppose because i was driving a mitsubishi I didn't recieve the same quality customer service as the woman with the bmw would have. This I poor judgement on thier part , You cant judge a book by its cover. I have alot of money and deserve the same service as the next customer.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!!!
