WORST BURRITOS IN TOWN – I really don't know why this palce has such great reviews. I went there with my bf expecting really good mexican food, only to discover the horrible serive and burritos. I had a chicken burrito and all it came with was CHICKEN???!! ues folks a chicken and a tortilla no salsa, guacamole, beans UGH disgusting i left my burrito on the plate. The server ignored us and was extremely feisty. Please don't come here you're better off at EL TARASCO on sepulveda! yuummy burritos and margaritas for half the price!
Best service!! – GREAT customer service. Affordable with EXCELLENT drinks. Not watered down. Could use a little more light in restuarant area but otherwise, a terrific eatery. Watch out for the extremely HOT salsa!!!!
True, delicious mexican food – This place is amazing. I brought my daughter there (when she was three) for our first "mother" "daughter" day. It was truly a treat and we have been going back ever since. They are VERY child friendly. I highly recommend this place. The prices are amazing and it's always enough food to take home with you.
Fabulous – Great food,
comfortable atmosphere and good service. When you're craving Mexican, definately the place to go.
I JUST LOVE IT – Paco's is one of the greatest mexican joints around. The food is good. But the drinks are better, Roman makes a killer Mai Tai. If you come more than once and sit at the bar, Roman, Tomas and Lorecto WILL remember your favorite drink. And just to let you know something else...The HOT WINGS kill. So for good food, and great margaritas, (and Monday nite football) stop by. You'll just love it too!
LOVE IT! – I have been going to Paco's Forever! I hit this location up every Wednesday (or try to) and have my usual 2 chicken tacos and a bannana cadillac margarita. YUMMY!
Robert, is a cute waiter with his magic tricks. Ask for Robert to wait on you. Sometimes
there is a little bit of a wait. This place does not do reservations (unless for a real big group). If you are looking for GREAT Mexican food that is not Commercial (like the others) this is your place to try. Stop by once and I bet you come back again and again.
Great margaritas! – So-cal chain serves up Mexican combo, fajitas and a variety of special dishes. beef or chicken tacos paired with cheese enchiladas, rice and beans is a crowd-pleasing fave. The margaritas--especially the classic lime on the rocks with salt--is the best margarita in L.A.
Relaxed Mexican spot with festive flair and homemade tortillas. – In Short
This casual Mexican features a vast expanse of tables in a lively interior festooned with crepe-paper streamers and fiesta decorations. Large fish tanks add even more color to the mix. Lunch hours are busy, but evenings find Paco's positively packed with a wide range of diners, from loners to family groups. In addition to burritos and customary combo plates, there's a bevy of meat and seafood selections and fresh tortillas prepared before your very eyes.
recommended! – We tried this place based on the favorable reviews we've heard, and we are glad we did.
We were a bit surprised at how large this place is, but although a bit noisy, we didn't mind too much. The decor is your standard mexican restaurant atmosphere.
As for the food, Paco's serves standard mexican-american fare, but they did almost everything really well. Chips and salsa were very well done, with warm, crispy chips and a great, spicy, flavorful salsa. Rich's carne asada burrito was absolutely huge, and came smothered with a delectable green sauce. Chris also really enjoyed his combination plate. The margaritas were just OK, but the service was friendly and efficient.
The only real criticism we had is due to their tendency to drown everything in tons of melted cheese. Tasty, but not very healthy!
Commercialized – This Paco's Tacos has good food and decent service. However, it's not that different from the big chains (El Torito and Acapulco).
If you want something better, go to the one on Centinela, not too far from this one.
