We went to Pinegrove for Veteran's Day Weekend. And, as always, had a wonderful time. The riding was perfect, the rooms are nice and clean and the service is always A #1. The entire staff is so pleasant and helpful. We always feel welcomed when we go. We had a great long weekend. Got to enjoy riding every day, the specially planned activities and the shows at night. It is a great way to relax and "kick back" and just have fun. We are planning our next long weekend for the Spring. Enjoy!
I used to go to Pinegrove with Eddie Colon. It's was a great family place. I met my husband there sorry to say I never took my children there. Would love to go back. I'm still married to the man I fell in love with at Pinegrove. Pine grove was always family oriented. I loved going there.
I can't say enough about how fun our weekend was. All of the employees were happy, eager to please and truly care about our stay! Can not wait to go back!!!! The meals were all delicious, the activities were fun, there were many to choose from. The kids loved the Coke-tail party! Halloween weekend was lots of fun! Kids really enjoyed the horse back ride too! Next time they want to try paint ball!
We went to Pinegrove for the first time this year based on friend's recommendation.
My wife, 17month old daughter, myself, and another couple with similar age child.
It was a lot of fun as long as your expectations are properly set.
This is not a luxury resort and you wont get 5 star accommodations. Rooms and many facilities are old and in need to proper repair. Proper because in many places it looks like things were patched up with whatever was lying around rather then professionally fixed. But we did not care all that much. Grounds are beautiful and surrounding area is stunning. I am sure it is amazing in the summer. We took our daughter horseback riding and she loved it. Had a blast snow tubing and playing with the animals at the petting zoo. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Love the fact that you get a table assigned for the stay and it was all set with high chairs for kids for breakfast and dinner. Had a good time at the pool as well. We were a little underwhelmed with the food at first, but it worked out great with delicious breakfast and good dinners. One thing that really needs to improve is lunch. It's hard with little kids to try and find a seat at the little area and it takes forever to get food and food itself is far from great. But with a little coordination and patience its not a deal breaker.
We wanted to do ice skating and we told at the front desk that they have small skates, but when we got there guys at the skating are said they have nothing under 6 year-old skates. But it was not a big deal because there are other things to do so we went back to snow tubing.
Save your money and don't buy the bottomless soda cups. Soda they have is nasty.
But over all, it's a fun place and we would go back again in the summer. Outdoor pool and play areas look like they would be a lot of fun.
Anthony was a great waiter. He kept us entertained, and we look forward to coming to dinner, lunch, and breakfast.
We arrived at Pine Grove Ranch on August 19th, too early for check-in, we thought, but at the front desk, not only was our room ready but they had upgraded us to a bigger room with no charge. We were told lunch was being served now but if we missed it, the snack bar was always open. It was a little daunting getting to our room as we had to go up and around a dirt road, park and then carry our bags quite a ways in order to get there but it was doable. Now that we stayed there, we know the shortcuts to our room and packing up was MUCH easier for us. I was a little worried about the room because I had read some bad reviews about cleanliness and such but I was pleasantly surprised, it was super clean and quite nice, just as nice as most other hotels I’ve stayed in. There were plenty of blankets and pillows and a kick-butt air conditioner that was awesome on such a hot day.
We spent 3 nights with a family of 9 and had a fantastic time. The outdoor pool was awesome, horseback riding was delightful, the entertainment kept us laughing and the bonfire and fireworks were spectacular. The food wad delicious and the kids had a blast. What really made the trip memorable was the excellent staff who made us feel at home and took care of our every need. There were sing alongs with live music and fun for all. It's a great place to reconnect with family and make memories.
I have been coming here for almost 12 years. I have a family of 5 plus there are always tag alongs. This is an all inclusive working mans resort. We always have an incredible time and make our own fun. The meals are pretty good and with the snack bar open all day who could complain. There is daytime and night time activities. The night shows are fun and not Las Vegas act, just a couple laughs for the kids and adult alike. To sum it up when you are on a budget you can go to one of the other ranches and pay almost twice as much or close your eyes to some of the imperfections and enjoy your stay.I would rather have my family have fun in a WARM AND FRIENDLY PLACE than a pristine ranch where I am a number.
At Pinegrove we had a beautifully decorated room with goodies to help us celebrate our day, It was wonderful and relaxing. We had lots of fun and excitement such as; listening to the singer and dancing to the music, playing bingo, shuffleboard, table tennis, and miniature golf. We enjoyed the beautiful fireworks and BBQ lunch for Labor Day. There were plenty of good food and snacks, also many other outdoor activities and games. We met some nice people and taught them how to play the Dominoes game, we had a great time!
Thanks To the O'Halloran Family and the entire Pinegrove Staff.
"This place blows Disney away!" Says my 9 year old. Pinegrove Ranch has given me the most amazing vacation I ever had. The whole atmosphere is relaxed, happy and friendly. The rooms are cleaner, well maintained and very comfortable. The food is so delicious and unlimited. The staff is friendly and helpful and everyone always has a smile on their faces. The expansive property is well maintained and has so much to do for everyone.
The most amazing part is the horseback riding program. The horses are friendly, beautiful and very well taken care of. The wranglers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and all around awesome. The trail rides take you on a journey that one only has in their dreams.
All I can say is that I will return every year and then some! I never want to go anywhere else for a vacation.
