Worst office ever – After changing my insurance, I had to find a new dentist and chose Gentle Dental because it looked clean and was in a convenient location. Biggest mistake ever! I'm not really into "personalized" service and don't care if the dentist is friendly or chats with me, etc. However, this place is just awful.

My first time they were unable to schedule my cleaning and exam on the same date, the contraptions they put in my mouth for x-rays were painful, and I didn't even get a free toothbrush! Plus, the place is set up like an assembly line so they go stall to stall checking teeth which may bother some people.

I immediately started searching for a new dentist, but it was a busy time in my life, and I eventually forgot. My biggest problem last time was having to make separate trips for the cleaning and exam, so when they scheduled them together this time, I figured everything would be great. Not so! This is the first time I've ever had a hygenist give me a sales pitch, trying to sell me all kinds of junk they only sell in the office but not in stores. However, he did give me a toothbrush, woohoo! I waited for the dentist for about 45 minutes, 10 of which were spent getting x-rays with the painful mouth inserts and a girl who didn't have a clue how to line up the machine. Finally the dentist showed up and said, "Hi," then spoke to his assistant in code as he checked my teeth, and walked away and left. After sitting for awhile with no instruction, the assistant finally directed me to the cashier who told me I have three cavities. Why on earth is the cashier telling me this?! What if I had questions? The dentist didn't say a word about it. And of course they couldn't schedule me for another month, at which time I'll have finally moved out of this town.

My experience was bad the first time, but the second was just horrendous. I would rather pay out of pocket to have a different doctor fill my cavities than trust these people, and I most likely will.
