I noticed that my pressure tank was leaking, so I did an internet search and found Walter. It was a Saturday, so he said that he would come by on Monday and replace the tank for a flat rate of $375. To my surprise, he called me a couple of hours later and said he could go ahead and do the work that day. He showed up in a couple of hours and replaced the tank. Walter is a very nice, knowledgeable retired guy that used to work for the state. The best part to me is that he uses very high quality parts, and does the job right. If you use cheap parts on your well, they just won't last. Don't hesitate to call Walter if you have problems with your well!
HE COULD HAVE EASILY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF US, BUT DIDN'T. Other than his knowledge, this is the thing that impressed me most about Mr. Upchurch. I read where somebody else said the same thing. My wife and I don't know anything about well pump systems, and we needed water NOW. If he said we needed a new pump, we would've bought it. But he didn't do that. (I wrongly assumed the pump was the problem.) He only replaced the worn out leaking tank, and the burned out pressure switch. He could've said several other things should be replaced and we would've gone right along with it, but he didn't. HE DIDN'T TRY TO FIND OTHER THINGS TO SELL US like a lot of service people will do. He checked the parts, & if they were OK, he moved to the next. (That's when you know you've got the right guy: when he doesn't go for the money even though it would be easy to. My old mechanic was like that.) He said our pump could have quite a few years left in it, and to use it until it quits. That saved us over a $1000. Thank You Walter's Well Pump repair service! That was a year and a half ago. (I just recommended Walter to a friend, and that, along with my wife, reminded me I never got around to writing this.) Our pump is still working fine. But when it finally quits, Walter is the guy we will call.
Walter is the most helpful, knowledgeable, and all around nice guy. If you have a problem with your well, this is the man to call. Explains in simple terms what needs to be done and how he's gonna do it. Very reasonable rates, by the job not the hour. Will recommend to friends and family.
Thanks again Walter!!

THIS GUY IS THE BEST! he s punctual, great communication, very knowledgeable, but more than all of that HONEST! i got 2 estimates from 2 different companies for around $3000 neither of which actually looked at my pump before telling me the pump and the tank were both bad. he already knew from the symptoms i d given him what the problem was and fix it in a lil over an hour for $300. bottom line if you want it done right, quickly, and not get screwed over by dishonest companies, he is DEFINIELY the right guy for the job, i HIGHLY recommend him and i will never call anyone else for any future problems.
