Attempted use a Groupon first week in Feb 2014, based on my fiance recommendation upon the place location- as a reasonable alternative to try a new place while moving in this area.

It was the worst experience of my life! The lady introduced as the owner of the Studio 247 was beyond to the “very impolite” limit, she was in fact very rude! In the end I wasn’t even sure if she was discriminating against my “accent” (foreign born US citizen) ,against using a Groupon, or maybe it was just her worst day …, Bellow please check my experience with Studio 247 in Chagrin Falls...

After waiting over 2 weeks from my first call to use the Groupon, and arriving promptly right on time the studio scheduled me, I was informed that I need to wait in fact two hours if i want to get the prepaid services. The young lady receptionist was initially missing for about 5-8 minutes at my arrival, and no one was to be found in the first room and at the front desk. As she did not even make any attempt to apologize for the inconvenience, or offer to take/store my coat and have me sit in a chair, I asked talking to a supervisor. She told me that the owner is aware of situation and she will come out talk to me. Next I was waiting for another 15-18 minutes, standing up in front of a receptionist ignoring me by pretending she was surfing on internet.

When the " owner” finally came out there were no apologies of any kind - instead she disrespectfully told me that “she personally left two messages on my voicemail” as to inform me about “this decision”!

I was insisting in letting her know her that I got absolutely none, otherwise i would at least call to confirm or reschedule. I felt quite anxious and upset about the whole situation and the perspective of being late and unprepared for an important family event i was hoping my hair will look good... As result she insisted how she was in fact doing me a favor by even having me there and then telling me that i am the rudest person she ever encountered since raising my voice -and that she is calm so saying “professional” as she doesn’t raise her voice!“ I stated that I was under distress and I apologize if am raising my voice – it was unintentionally. She said that she doesn’t care and that I should contact Groupon to get my money back as she can care less for me * new customer * and she is a very successfully business owner in Chagrin Falls.

Things got only worse while I tried showing her that I am an educated professional with two doctoral degrees, and my time might also be important not just hers, even I do carry an accent – and regardless of that maybe she shouldn’t treat anybody like this if she wants a good business . Short after I was answering on my cell and attempted to listen to my fiance request to wait there for him as he was 3 min away, but the "owner' asked me to wait for him outside (February …) or “she will call the Chagrin Falls police”…. This event finished minutes later when my fiance got in the door and asked politely what is going on… The “magic” happened and the "owner" finally apologized!!! -She even proposed doing my hair immediately as she had nothing else to do!!!…a whole good hour + before the time I was suppose to wait…. I told her that I wouldn’t let her touch me now and that all she had to do is just to come out for one minute shortly after my arrival, say hello, apologize for these voicemail “misunderstandings?”, then offer me a chair and maybe a glass of water… as I would probably go along in a way or another, even I was going to be late from an important family event …
