Positive Reviews Fake?.
They did a horrible job and said things needed to be fixed on the furance that didn't, ultimately trying to sell a new one.
Too many bad things about this Company circulating in the Buffalo market to believe the positive reviews. All of the positive reviews were posted almost on the same day! It must have been an contrived effort by employees or their friends / family members to overcome a negative image.
Way over-priced, market gimmicks (attorney general hot water), a rating of D with the Better Business Bureau. Extend your research of this Duffett's beyond this website before allowing them through your door!

On January 30, 2010 our furnace broke and we called your company for assistance. Since that was one of the coldest days of the winter so far, we had no idea how long we would have to wait, but to our surprise your service man Scott appeared in about 2 hours. Scott advised us we needed a new furnace, which could be installed on Monday February 1st.
We agreed to the price and hired your firm to install a new furnace, humidifier and air conditioner. Scott and Brian returned promptly on Monday and took great care to ensure that our carpets and the rest of our home remained clean of any debris while installing the appliances.
We are very satisfied with every aspect of this transaction and especially with the knowledge and respect of your two employees, Scott and Brian.
We hope that you recognize Scott and Brian for their excellent work ethic and commend your for hiring such professional men.
The Best. We can't thank Mitch enough for his excellence during our recent emergency. I was overwhelmed at that time, with personal finances plus my husband in the hospital with life threatening surgery. Mitch patiently explained costs and repairs and even spoke with my husband (in the hospital) over the phone. It was so important to keep my husband in household decisions during his illness. Wow. Recently had the opportunity to use your company. I feel obligated to take some time to write you this letter. When I first the discussion with Craig about the fact that I was looking into getting central air, he immediately told me that I should get a bid from your company. He explained that your company not only did great work, but that you stand behind every product and that your customer service is exemplary. He even said "let me make the call for you, and I will have someone contact you" I do not know many companies that will go that far to make a potential customer happy. I was already impressed. With-in minutes, I received a call from RICK (Richard... sorry I don't have his last name), setting up a time for him to come see me. He was very polite on the phone. When he arrived the next day he was neat in appearance made a very positive first impression for your company. He explained that he had spoke to Craig, had some idea what I was looking for, then confirmed it with me and proceeded to tell me all about the product he was offering that matched my needs. When we were finished, I told him that I was still waiting on 2 other proposals, and we agreed that he would get back to me later that day. Though other bids were slightly lower in price, I decided to go with your company based on the treatment of both Criag and Rick. When the two men arrived on FRIDAY MORNING, they were both polite, neat and ON TIME. (something I with other companies would learn how to do) They introduced themselves, walked with me to the basement and asked a few questions confirming the job, and locations of the vent pipes, etc. They were from the get go PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY at the same time. I was again impressed with the caliber of your installers. They worked diligently through the day and when they were finished made sure the room(s) were back to normal, then proceeded to walk me through the entire job and made sure I understood how everything worked. They also wanted to make sure that I knew how to contact anyone if there was a problem, and again pointed out the warrantees of the contract. The were in short, amazing. I asked for a few extra cards from Brian and Anthony, because I assured them, I have passed out 2 of them and will be passing them out to ANYONE I KNOW WHO IS LOOKING FOR A FURNACE OR AIR CONDITIONING. Having been in retail as both an employee and an owner for over 35 years, if the 4 men that I had the opportunity to meet from your company are an example of what your company stands for, then I am sure you must be the most successful company in Western New York. Though I hope I never need to call on you for service, I am very hopeful, that part of your company is as great as this part.
Great Operation. I wanted to thank you for your terrific service on my recent purchase of a Dunkirk boiler and boilermate. I lined up several other companies for estimates but was convinced by Rich to go with yours. He was pleasantly pushy and local too. Jeff and Scott showed up to do the work and I liked them too! They were quiet, clean and very pleasant. Then I had to fill out the rebates and called your office to get help from Abbey who also was very helpful and nice. I deal with a lot of companies and find your whole operation runs well together and they should be applauded! I will definately refer you to any friends or family in the future.
Very Impressed. I am writing on behalf of my Mom. She had a new furnace and air conditioning installed on October 6, 2009. I was so impressed with your crew. They arrived on time, were very professional, explained everything they had done, cleaned up after so it looked as though no one was there and they were all so pleasant. You don't find that often any more! Hats off to Brian, Anthony and I forgot the other technician's name. I would highly recommend your company to anyone who needs work done. You should be proud of your employees!!! I have had furnaces installed by Capital Heat and work done by Sears, and you leave them in the dust! Thanks again.
Great Guys. Recently I had a problem with needed a plumbers help. I'm pleased to inform your company of my total satisfaction. Your people go the full mile to ensure that. Kevin Weiser is a professional in all aspects. Polite, courteous and above caring how he is doing his job. It was also a pleasant surprise to talk to Julie on the phone. To hear a so cheerful voice in the am is surprising and warming. If I were looking to hire employees these two would have a job forever. At 67 years of age I'd welcome them into my family in a heartbeat.
