Bar Cotto

Ethan Stowell's newest venture is next door to his much lauded Anchovies & Olives. The room is sleek & lively and plays host to the 'see and be seen' crowd of CapHill as well as those looking for a casual evening of pies, porchetta and lambrusco. Don't miss the salumi boards, roasted vegetables or the bruschetta with talleggio & roasted grapes or chickpeas, rapini and anchovy.

Vistit during happy hour 4:00 p.m - 6:00 score 1/2 off all pizzas and beer and wine specials.

The meat slicer in this joint is like the Rolls Royce of meat slicers. And you'll be eating in style when you order some nicely sliced salumi from the 16 different styles of meat that grace Bar Cotto's kitchen. Get 5 varieties for 25 bucks and make a night out of it (the torta fritta pairs quite nicely). Stop in during Happy Hour and wind down with a glass of Lambrusco. It's addictive!

Yay meat! This sweet little spot from chef Ethan Stowell is smack next door to his busy seafood place, Anchovies & Olives. This is the turf to that surf, celebrating charcuterie and craft cocktails, it's a terrific way to start your evening. Feel like sticking around? Well, there are all sorts of interesting flatbread-style pizzas to munch on and assorted salads, too. In other words, Bar Cotto is a very cool place to hang out.

Wood fired pizza with grown up toppings, amazing cured meats, fried dough, cocktails, and a pretty space. What more could one ask for??
