Stress free experience! – After visiting several bridal shops it was a pleasure to find Christines. They helped to make my wedding a special day.
Great Price and Great Service! – I did not get my wedding dress from Christine's but we did get all of the bridesmaid dresses there and everyone was happy with the price and service. Other then a few minor adjustments, the alterations were perfect.. ALL WAS GOOD!
Christine's Bridal was the right choice – My wife recommended Christines Bridal to a freind and they searched online to see questionable reviews? My wife found the gown that she liked at Christines and they did all of the alterations perfectly. She told me they treated her very professional. It looks to me like a lot of these reviews are left by the same person!!! Her friend has an appointment next week, To be continued...
DO NOT GO TO THIS BRIDAL SHOP!!!! – This bridal shop has terrible customer service!! I received nothing but attitude and NO ASSISTANCE from the sales women, even though I had an appointment. The older of the 2 women had a nasty attitude and didn't help me even when I asked for it. I would give this rating no stars if possible, they don't even deserve 1.
The WORST Bridal place – This is the worst place. I ordered my custom made dress over 7 months ago...they never called to tell me it came in. Then they ordered it 3 inches to big and charged me for a hem adjustment. It's a custom gown, you shouldn't need an adjustment! When I confronted them with these issues they argued and were very rude. Needless to say, I disputed the charge and filed a BBB report and went to channel 2 and 4!!!!
Go somewhere else. – Three of six bridesmaids were measured for one, or even two, sizes too big. Luckily our awesome bride called and had them switched, although the nasty ladies insisted they measured for the correct sizes. One bridesmaid tried the sample dress, a size 10 which fit like a glove, and was ordered a 12...? We went to pick them up today and the sizes our bride had changed fit perfectly. However, the one we did not have changed because she wasn't told what size she was ordered (none of us were, we had to try and read it off the slip when we were putting our deposit down) had the dress falling off of her. The dress was at least two sizes too big. The old lady, who only ever met this bridesmaid once before, and measured her for 30 seconds, said she could tell that she lost weight and that must be why the dress is so big. She would have had to have lost about twenty pounds for that to be the case, when in reality she's gained weight. Basically, they gave her no discount, offered no apologies, and blamed it on her losing weight and how the manufacturer cuts the fabric for the dresses. She said that she had measurements falling into three different sizes, so they picked the middle one. Based off of that, she would have been between sizes 4, 6, and 8... when really she is a size 2. The old lady also said how easy the alterations would be, completely dismissing the entire point that SHE measured wrong and there shouldn't even BE that much to alter. Not to mention, we were told they would be in on March 27th, but we never heard anything, then the bride called yesterday (April 5th) and asked if they were in, they said they had been shipped out here on March 19th and they had been in... but we were never even notified. All they cared about was getting their money, and sticking to their "all sales are final" policy. Do not even waste your time there, go somewhere ANYWHERE else.
Christine's Bridal Hell – I'm a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. The bride and my fellow brides maids made an unfortuante mistake of choosing Chrisitine's as our choice to order our gowns.
Our first impression was that Christine's very dirty wih a small selection and very impersonal attitude. After atleast one other bridal group ran over into our appointment, the lady that finally waited on us had a very unprofessional attitude and obviously hates her job. We did somehow manage to find a (clean and unbroken) dress and decided to order the gown because of the small color selection we found everywhere else. Unfortunatly, the same nasty unprofessional woman measured us. WHAT A MISTAKE. After, leaving there we realized that all but one of our girls were oversized by atleaset a size and told that the sizes ran small. (SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM DOESN'T IT?) At this point, our bride was concerned that our dresses wouldn't fit and changed 3 of the dress sizes smaller.
When the dresses finally came in, our bride did not recieve a call. She called in concerned herself and found our dreses had been there for sometime. The dresses fit most of us. One bridesmaid was very obviously measeured wrong and ordered a size she never fit in her life! When she disbuted the size, the lady ordered it anyways. The dress is almost to big to be alterered. In informing the two ladies that this mistkae was made, they repeatedly said it wasn't there fault, dresses aren't made to fit every person, told her she was obviously not that size and insisted she lost weight. In insisting in a refund or an alteration they refused.
Isn't it a duty of a bridal shop to atleast know how to measure for gowns?? This place was nothing but a headache. With two very unprofessional woman running this joint i'm surprised they aren't closed down.
Brides-This is a time for you and your girls to be pampered. Gown shopping is supposed to be a fun experience for your perfect day. I promise you this place will do nothing but F*** IT UP. Please make a better decision on your boutique choice and don't become vicim to Christine's Boutique Hell.
The WORST experience I have had planning my wedding! – I found my dream dress at another salon, but due to the location I did not order it from there. I called Christine's to see if they could order it for me. They were very nice, the next day I went in and placed my order. That was the last positive experience I had with them. My 6 bridesmaides went in to pick their dresses out. There was a little girl running in and out of all of the rooms as my girls were changing. We also had to help ourselves and could not find anyone to help us for 15 minutes. I wanted my girls to order their dresses by Nov 1st to make sure we had them in time. She told some of my girls they did not have to order them by that date. I ended up placing the order on Nov 4th after telling my girls they had to order now. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks for the dresses to be in. I called the first week in January (almost 8 weeks later) to see when they were expecting them. I never received a return phone call. My bridesmaide from out of town called and they said they would be in the beggining of March???? After many phone calls I got the dresses; 16 weeks after the original order date. I believe they never placed the original order. When my girls and I went to pick up our dresses, they were so rude and barly let us try on our dresses (since we were not getting our alterations done there). They ordered one of my bridesmaides the wrong dress and told her it was not their fault. They are the ones who wrote down the style number. They would do nothing to help her and we now have a seamstress remaking her dress into something she likes. My other bridesmaid made 4 trips before she actually got her dress. They were randomly closed with notes on the door.
I could go on for another day about all of the rude and unprofessional comments and conversations that took place with this business; but there is nothing I can do about it now. I am just hoping that this will help keep other brides from having a similar experience.
Rude, unproffesional and disappointing!!!! – I was a bride... They told me if i ordered the dress off the rack (due to lack of time to order it) they would clean it up and make it look brand new, sew all the beads that fell off back on and clean up all the hanging strings - they didn't, not at all!! On every patch of beading there were AT LEAST 3 or 4 beads missing and the hanging strings were still there from where the beads broke off. Also, they were completely rude and snippy the whole time. They altered the dress wrong so there were buldges of fabric at the hips and acted offended that I wanted it fixed... and then didn't even bother calling to let me know my dress wasn't ready for my final fitting- they let me drive all the way out there and then were completely unappologetic for not giving me the courtesy of a phone call. I didn't get my dress until 3 days before my wedding and they were closed until the day of my wedding so I couldn't even have them fix all the beading and loose string they PROMISED to fix. Noses stuck WAY up in the air. PLEASE!!! don't waste your time or money! You'll be SOOOO disappointed!
VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! – VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! - ejoconnor - Today
I was a bridesmaid for a wedding and the old lady who works there was terrible. She tried to convince me that the dress she ordered fit when it was the wrong size, then she altered it incorrectly and never told me about the alteration fees. When I showed up to get it on my lunch hour which they are supposed to open at 1pm, I waited outside for 40 minutes until she finally showed up to open the shop. She never apologized for making me wait and said I should have called. I told her I did call and they told me to come in anytime between 1pm-8pm.
The place is dirty and looks like it has not been updated in 40 years. They are rude, unprofessional and don't seem to have a clue what they are doing.
