Bad customer service. Bought Kirby generic sweeper bags and wouldnt fit g-5 sweeper. Tried to return and was told to bad.Stay away from these people.
Worst Place Ever – I have never written a review, I signed up only to write a review about Carmen's.
My wife and I went in to see if we could get our Dyson fixed. As soon as we asked about it they started trying to sell us an $800.00 vacuum, obviously we were not going to buy an $800 vacuum, so the sales pitches started. The tyoical used car salesman lines started coming out, " My boss is going to puke", or " we have one in gold that was last years model we could knock money off for ya".
It became very apparent that they were not going to fix our Dyson so we decided to order a new filter for our old vacuum and figure out the Dyson later. I did not have the model number on our old vacuum so I took a shot with the filter. I asked the guy working if I could bring it back if it was not the right one, "No problem".
It was not the right one so I stopped back in, NO CASH REFUNDS. You have to exchange the filter, but they do not carry the filter I need. I have "ordered" the filter 5 times and still have nothing and every time I order the filter they have nothing on record and I have to give them the same information over again.
To make things even worse the last time I was in, I told them how much I paid for the filter originally and the guy working sais I got robbed, and he was the one that sold it to me. He had nothing to say when I told him that.
Go somewhere else!!!
Absolutely Wonderful! – Great service, very helpful.
Often times people want to just throw out their broken appliances, but I hate doing that. I was glad they didn't encourage me to do so.
Carmen's told me what was wrong with my vacuum, and then fixed it for me in less than 5 minutes! They even shared what I should look for in the future to optimize the lifespan of my vacuum. No upselling, which was a huge relief!
Worth it – At first I wasn't sure about a specialty store. Service has always been good, helpful staff. I've only purchased once but prices and service were fair and my vacuum has taken a beating- I've been able to order parts for my steam cleaner. I would buy there again.
