Son loves this place – My husband and kids love this place!! Good egg rolls
Best Chinese in Pickerington Reynoldsburg area! – We had take out here on Sunday 2/27/11. Orange Chicken was great, spring rolls- great, and Chicken Curry was fantastic! We have eaten takeout over 10 times in the last year or two. Every time the food is good and fresh. Gotta wonder if the competition is writing the bad reviews???? never had a bad experience there!
YUCK!!! – First time my family has visited..The order was called in and was picked up...Everything was there that we ordered, however, YUCK!! I got the Emperess Chicken and I think it was made for lunch and then re-fried so the chicken was rock hard over cooked, and the sauce, ( that was like soup ) made my crispy over-cooked re-deep fried chicken's breading SOGGY....The rice was good, though...The Crab rangoon was re-fried as well and the middle part was in a patty and the outside part was a mushy mess....will not hesitate to tell everyone I know NOT to go here...I don't know..maybe dining in would be better, but I, nor my family, will be finding out!!!
the best oriental cuisine around – We order take out from DH Wu on a regular basis. The spring rolls are the best I have ever tasted. Everything that we ordered had has been incomparable to any oriental resteraunt around with the possible exception of the sweet and sour chicken/pork dish. We love to order take out and enjoy this in the comfort of our home on the weekends. I have never eaten in the resteraunt but for me it's all about the take out. Try it, you wont regret having found this little gem!
Worst restaurant in Pickerington – The worst sweet and sour chicken I have ever eaten! It was rock hard, and when this was brought to managment's attention they said that they would take care of the next visit. When that occurred they said that if they gave replacements for all their horrible food they would be out of business. So they charge their customers for their short comings instead! Not a recommended restaurant! Horrible food, horrible managment, and no customer service!
Just plain Good Food! – Forget about the nasty americanized Chinese places you're used to, the food from this restaurant is wonderful.
Be sure to check out the section of the menu that features truly authentic dishes.
Tastiest Chinese food in Central Ohio – The dishes at D.H. Wu's are served in the most flavorful sauces I've ever tasted and the meat & vegetables are very fresh. The freshness and quality of the meat and vegetables are obvious because D.H. Wu's does not try to camouflage anything with heavy breading and thick sauce. My favorite, General Tso's Chicken, is perfectly light and crisp, not soggy with a lot of gristle like it's served at a lot of other Chinese restaurants. The fried rice is simply rice that is brown, and what I consider to be fried rice. Some other Chinese restaurants try to pass off yellow rice as fried rice. Shrimp dishes are served with extra large, plump shrimp. Portion sizes are generous.
The menu is extensive with many appetizers, soups, noodle & lo mein dishes, chef's specialties, specialty rice bowls, seafood, poultry, beef, pork, vegetarian, Cantonese specialties and fried rice. Whatever you're in the mood for, I'm sure it's on the menu.
Prices are very reasonable, for example:
Egg Roll $1.15 * Shrimp Egg Roll $1.35 * Wonton Soup $1.50 * Pork Lo Mein $4.75 (lunch) $7.95 (dinner) * Sweet & Sour Shrimp $5.75 (lunch) $8.75 (dinner) * General Tso's Chicken $4.95 (lunch) $7.95 (dinner) *
Beef w/ Broccoli $5.25 (lunch) $8.25 (dinner) * Sweet & Sour Pork $4.95 (lunch) $7.95 (dinner). The service at D.H. Wu's is extremely friendly and efficient. The restaurant is very small, with only about 15 tables. The decor is minimal, with mood lighting and everything is spotless and super clean. But the real highlight is the food, which is absolutely delicious.
healthy, delicious, authentic chinese! – our family loves it! it's just slightly more pricy than your typical "greasy chinese" take-out, but well worth it! they serve authentic chinese and cantonese, and all of their ingredients are fresh. the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, and the employees (i think they're all family) are very nice and helpful if you come in not knowing what to order. they've never steered me wrong! you must try DH WU!
Awsome!!! – Since moving to the columbus area a few years ago from New York, D. H. Wu's is the best chinese restaurant I found. It has all the great authentic chinese flavors I crave at a very affordable price. The family at D.H. Wu's are extremely nice, it makes me feel like home everytime I dine in with my family. We have to dine in or take a carryout order at least once every week. Everything tastes soooo awsome!!!
Love the food love the place – Everything tastes excellent from DH Wu's. The place is nicely decorated with a trendy bistro feel. DH Wu offers an extensive list of chinese dishes along with some cantonese specialties. If you like noodles, you will love my favorite "Beef with Rice Noodle". And go try their General Tso Chicken, it is abosolutely fantastic. I also love their crab rangoon!!! What brings me back to DH Wu's every week in addition to the quality of their food is friendly service.
