Red Carpet --- RIP OFF – I bought 2 tickets to your red carpet event. Your site said it stated at 8:00 but the doors were open at 6:00.
So when we arrived and found nothing but crumbs left and nothing else was included with the RIDICULOUS price of admission. We were shocked and EXTREMELY disappointed (angry). The other drinks were inflated and the soft drinks were the same price as going to a movie. You were so cheap as to not even include popcorn, with this $20.00 ticket (only water, HA !!!!) WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!! The program you displayed was not even commercial free. It looks like I could have stayed home and watched it on my big screen and saw the same thing. I feel like I have been duped and ripped off. We got NO food, NO drinks, Nothing. I will give you a VERY bad rating for this con. Shortly (about 15min.) after arriving we decided that we were hungry and left to go home so we could have some real food and watch the same program on TV for free. Your event was and is a total waste of money
IF you wanted people to be there at 6:00 then you should have said it starts at 6:00 not 8:00. Or at the very least make sure there is food there for the entire event, like how it is normally done by professional event planers. Not the pitiful excuse of empty containers that were displayed and presented to us.
I give you a very big thumbs down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WILL NOT return to your theater and I WILL tell as many people as I can NOT to attend your theater, ex-specially for this thing, if you try it again. I hope you made a lot of money from it and feel good about ripping people off.
I would like my money back!!!!!
This independent theater ensures Columbus has access to quality art and foreign films that chain theaters ignore. – The Scene
When Jeff and Kathy Frank bought the Drexel East in 1981, it was a second-run, single-screen, double-feature theater. Now, it's a three-screen art house with a hallway that connects it to the Drexel Radio Cafe. Its sister theater, on Grandview's main drag, is even smaller--it's composed almost entirely of its one large, grand screen.
Showing independent flicks like "The Virgin Suicides" and "American Movie," plus quality films like "The Usual Suspects" and "Life is Beautiful," that make even multiplexes jump on the indie bandwagon. Special events include the annual Sci-fi Festival, the Summer Kids Movie Fest, Oscars bashes, New Year's Eve parties and the Columbus International Film and Video Fest.
