Best and Worst Hushpuppys – If you can talk them in to making you fresh hushpuppys they might be the best you have ever had, but don't count on it they get really mad if you ask for them fresh . They cook a couple hundred in the morning then sit them under a heat lamp for hours ! They get hard. as a rock not good ! Long John Silvers don't taste as good but at least they are fresh every 15 minutes, not 1 hour, not 2 hours, and certainly not 3 or more hours like they are at Marino's ! They become an INFERIOR product real fast ! Anybody and everybody knows hushpuppys have to be hot and fresh to get that peak flavor. You can ask for fresh but it makes them mad, they will even argue with you insisting they are good product even though they have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours ! YUCK ! YUCK ! YUCK !

Casual seafood place, great prices – Marino's is just like the places I used to frequent on the east coast when I was a kid. Harry the owner is right in there cooking and serving and seems to take a lot of pride in the quality of food and service. . It's my kind of place. I recommend the fried clams.

The Best Fish & Chips – We we're visiting the Columbus area and went to Marino's for a quick lunch. It was great! The food was yummy and it didn't break our bank! We grabbed the free entree coupon off of Citysearch and spent less than $15 for a lot of food.
