My ultimate favorite Thai Food! – I have been going to the Thai Kitchen since 2003....and I am chef myself so that being said.

Here is what I eat most of the time

Fried OR fresh Veggie spring rolls

Wonton Soup

Pad see ew with tofu and vegetables

For dessert ask for the "Tapioca Dessert"

I travel quite a lot and my #1 choice is Thai. I do research before I even visit the City or Country where I am going. I am also Vegan and Thai Kitchen will prepare your meal Vegan if you ask.

Once was enough – I eat Thai a lot, around Cleveland and on the west coast. My favorite dish is panang beef and everyone does it a little differently. I don't eat brocoli, so usually I eat the beef, leave the brocoli, and take the remaining sauce home to flavor some chicken :-) Here there was so little meat it was rediculous. I asked about it, and they added more meat, and charged me for it.

One person came in to pick up take out while we were there. She was disappointed to see that the person working at this restaurant was the same as that from a nearby restaurant that closed. She had a lengthy discussion about her previous order of scallions falling short because of the size. He said that's all that was available. She thought she should have gotten more than 12 if they were small, or a reduced price. Based on my experience with the beef, I'm guessing she was right.

I'm not sure if this place will make it. We live a few blocks away and would have made this a regular stop if we liked it. They knew it was our first time there and didn't do much to help. If they need to raise prices a little to cover their costs, they probably should. I would have thought a new restaurant would put forth more effort to satisfy customers, but then I'm a marketing exec.

A good Thai food place in Lakewood – My hubby and I are complete foodie's. We like trying new cuisines. We were looking for something in Lakewood, OH, where we live and we came across "Thai Kitchen". We were in two minds, whether to go there or not, as the place looked very small. But the decision of going and trying the food there was completely worth it. We simply loved the food! It is very delicious and it gives a "home cooked meal" kinda taste too. Though a small place, you get a pretty good list of stuffs to try from.

Wow, what am I missing??? – I read the other reviews of this place and I don't get what I'm missing! A former Chicagoan, I cleaned out the Thai scene there with great bliss. I come to Cleve, visit Thai Kitchen on countless recommendations, and I was quite disappointed. Muddy, mushy red curry with basically frozen bag veggies in it, served on cold rice.

I'm no stranger to holes in the wall, and I have no problem with that, but the food just wasn't up to what I was led to believe. I will revisit based on other reviews, but I'm pretty baffled. So future diners, be aware of a possible inconsistency or something. I hope I'm wrong.

So authentic, so tasty, so happy. – I honestly believe the only other places you can only find Thai that tastes this good in New York, Los Angeles, and Thailand. Who would have thought that Lakewood, Ohio could land a place like this? The owners are there to please and will make your food to order (if you're picky about the way you like your Thai food), but I think if you just leave it up to them to do what they do best you will not be disappointed. Recommended dishes: Chicken Satay, Tom Kar Gai, Pad Thai. There aren't too many places to go with three friends for spectacular cuisine that won't break your bank.

Great food, Great Service! – We dined here last weekend and were very impressed. While the restaurant is not flashy or trendy by any means (it looks like a hole in a wall, dive restaurant and only has a handful of tables for 2), the food and service are well worth a visit. Each dish is prepared to the guests request (the hot is HOT!). We will definitely be back!

Get your kicks above the waistline-in the stomach, to be exact. – The Scene

While the front window's twinkling white lights set a "rainy season in Bangkok" mood, better to go inside and sit down in front of the Grand Palace or Floating Market pictures on the wall. Your senses will be captured by the pungent scents of Thai curry and lemon grass; your first sip of milky Jasmine tea will transport you to the heart of old Siam.

The Selection

Experience the crunch of crispy spring rolls and sweet iced coffee without shots or visas. Put aside your fork and sink those chopsticks into some Thai todmun (fish-cake patties), clear rice-noodle soup or traditional pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. The entrees may be a bit greasier than you'd expect, but they are authentic.

Thai 101

Say "Ho hai duai." That means, "Please wrap it for me." The entire menu is available for take out and makes a great alternative to the Chinese-American food routine.
