A combination plate of Cambodian classics, Vietnamese ingredients and Thai spices. – The Scene
So ordinary on the outside that it blends, as if camouflaged, into this West Side strip of car lots and corner markets, Phnom Penh draws in-the-know devotees from across Ohio. Call ahead: Reservations here are a weekend's most impossible dream.
For once, a high-concept restaurant delivers more than it promises. Phnom Penh tosses beef, chicken and seafood into an exotic spice pot of turmeric and galanga root, and the resulting flavors are unique. Cambodian crepes are filled with shrimp and pork, and the broad potato noodles could make a star out of the most pedestrian marinara.
Best food in the world – If you want to talk about the best Cambodian and vietnames food, there no where else better than Phnom Penh.I love their food very much. For instance, they have the best Cambodian comination curry Bayon, Beff Banh hoy, sea food Amok siem reap ,and the Flavor of pinaple which call shrim Neakporn are my favorite.I would recommand All those above for you to try at the fisrt time, the others are good too.In fact, the Server there are helpfull.I would recomand for a big group so that you can try different food and share like a family style.I wish I could live close to that place so I can eat everyday. One question that i want to ask them is "Why don't they move to east side?".
Like Angkor Watt in Cleveland – The food here in this blandly decorated restautant (essentially a coffee shop, with its formica tables and drop ceilings) is worth driving across town to eat, especially the vegetarian dishes. Even better are the patrons -- you'll dine side-by-side with Cambodian and Vietnamese poets, writers and families who, on occasion, present their art and share stories. One rarely thinks about there being a strong South East Asian community on Cleveland's near West Side: but it's right here, and it makes for a fascinating dining experience.
