No more College Id night – They don't have college Id night anymore, and the guy was an a$$ on the phone. They;re prices are way expensive for a poor college student

The Improv doesn't do improv, but it does have its fair share of comics. – The Scene
The Improv is one of a chain of comedy clubs with locations in most larger-than-Hartsville cities, and this Flats outpost regularly packs 'em in. From local comics to big-name headliners, the talent roster runs the gamut. You'll see walls lined with photos of stars who have graced the stage of Cleveland's lone professional comedy venue, from Ellen Degeneres to Jerry Seinfeld. If you want in on a high-profile night, reserve your seats early or risk being left out of the joke corral. Ticket holders with dinner reservations get priority seating. The Menu
The fare is sparse and not something to write home about. It would be a good idea to have dinner elsewhere instead of settling for the club's overpriced, average pizzas, salads, sandwiches or entrees. The drinks aren't cheap, either. There's a small wine selection, a decent number of beers and lots of frozen drinks, the house specialties. And just like at Six Flags, you can get yours in a take-home souvenir glass.

The Crowd
The crowd—especially at the late shows—is a rowdy group and drinking is a motif, so try to relax and think of the drunks as part of the ambiance. Be prepared to get to know some strangers, as you'll probably be seated at a table with other chuckleheads and watch at least two comics before the main act.

Quaint, cute, and expensive – The Improv is the place to go before a noght out in the Flats. You'll laugh, cry and roll over at some of the comedians, but remember to bring enough money because you will, easily, spend $15 on one drink and an appetizer.
