Neighborhoods: Parma Heights
The Pits of the city – This place sucks unless you are looking for some good live music in which they get some GREAT musicians somehow in this joint every Friday and Saturday night it is the only place in Parma Heights you know you can go and catch some good live music. The prices are a little more expensive on the weekend nights but that is to make up for the fact that they are one of the few places that don't charge any cover. I hear they actually have a couple of newer, younger, cuter bar help these days and Robin the bartender is the Bomb but other than that they only seem to hire fat, ugly, rude, old nags that if you are not one of the gossipy clique regulars that they associate with you will get a poor drink, charged expensive prices, wait unusually long while they talk about nothing but usually other people at the end of the bar with their gang and almost make you feel as if you are not even a Paying Customer but a nuisance. Don't know how the place stays in business. if you can get away with bringing in your own somehow and listening to the music that is what I would suggest. Stay away from the bartenders especially if you ask them their names and they reply Joanne or Laura. Take my advice. They will talk about you and even throw you out and have you arrested for no reason or if you appear to be having to much fun cause they are so miserable themselves I guess. I wish someone would open another bar here in Parma Heights and take their bands and book them in a new location around here. The help is grouchy and mean, the customers are gossipy, the place smells and is dirty, the owners are never there, the pool table has a wall where you have to use a short stick to play and the other sticks probably are broke and have no tips, the dart boards are right when people walk in the front doors, the stage doesn't give much room for a band with more than two players. But go rock out for me in the meantime until we find a better spot to get some of the great music they actually somehow find and not even realize the talent they get in there as nobody seems to really be into the music or appreciate them anyway. I hear it was just sold to some Parma Heights retired cop but can't find record of it or a parcel number for that address of the company Nana Inc or the previous owner Mary Nugent anywhere. If anybody knows where I can as I have been mistreated, slandered, taken into custody as though a criminal just for rocking out, and hospitalized and my reputation ruined due to some (not all) of the low lives that patronize this establishment.
Peace and Rock ON,
