The best store – I just recently went to this store because everybody kinda was talking about this store. They had amazing selection on jeans, casual wear and great shoes. I bought 2 tops, shoe and 2 jeans. i get compliments left and right.

If you want to look totally different/sexy/etc. I would highly recommend you to check this store.

Like Merry Go Round From The 80's, Only More $$ – So, It all started when I was getting a coffee nearby, walked past the store and saw an item on the mannequin that caught my eye. The store wasn't opened yet, so I decided to wait. The employee in the store must have been having a bad day, because he decided to open the store about 15 minutes late, even though he could see me clearly waiting.

He finally opened the store. Upon walking in, I greeted the guy with a friendly "Hey, how ya doin" and he said absolutely nothing back. I felt like I was really intruding by shopping there. So I'm trying some things on and I needed another size but didn't want to bother the uppity D Bag again, so I kept trying different things on until another edmployee arrived and I asked for her help. I needed another size and asked her if she had it, she said the last one in my size was on the mannequin. I asked politley if they could get it. D bag guy stripped it off the mannequin, I tried it on and it fit great. I bought the item, thanked the girl for her help and thanked the D Bag for getting it off of the mannequin for me. He stormed by without saying a word. I think it was his time of the month.

My advice is.... don't shop there unless you absolutely cannot live without something you see. if you must go, be prepared for a bad attitude. Also, they don't allow returns. I think Allsaints Spitafields is much better if you like this type "Brittish bohemian mad max at thunderdome" clothing, the service and selection are far better, in my opinoin.

Found great, high quality pieces – I was never really interested in this clothing store before because I was too young to quite pull off the looks and did not understand the types of clothes to look for. But a while later, I went back to this store after years of window shopping and browsing casually through the racks and found some great deals on quality clothing.

The service, while other reviewers have had poor experiences in that particular area, was friendly and very helpful. They did not say one rude comment or have a bad attitude toward me. However, I must say that the salespeople were rather loud while talking to one another, and it somewhat disturbed me during my shopping. Still, I cannot say that their service was awful or intentionally unhelpful by any means. The difference in service may be due to the test of time as the service can change after months of complaints.

The contents of the store, to me, were very edgy and trendy. While it was indeed trendy, it still included classic, yet incredibly fun and interesting pieces that grabbed my attention. I have not seen too many brand names that are extremely famous, and if you care very much about brand name clothing, you may not enjoy this rather underground European store. I found a great Italian leather (lambskin) jacket/blazer for $600 (originally $1200), a bright orange knit/chiffon puff sleeve top for $45 (originally $85), and three pairs of shoes for an approximate total of $210.

The prices, without a sale, are on the high end. There are some tank tops that are over $50 and simplistic pieces that are even more overpriced. Certain jeans with details sometimes even amount to about $300 or more. If you are looking to shop here and are on a budget, buy a single, high quality piece that you really love and know you will wear instead of buying several pieces that you do not enjoy immensely. However, I personally think that shopping in the sale section opens up more opportunities to pick out special pieces that really accentuate your current wardrobe.

I highly recommend Politix as the go-to clothing store for long-lasting and quality clothes. I recommend it even if you do have to juggle your spending strategies by buying one piece that sits perfectly with you instead of splurging on many pieces that you can do without. I assure you that if you do shop well at this store, you can fish up incredible finds that are unique and eye-catching that you can use in versatile ways.

The worst Euro-trash and bad attitude to the customer I've ever encountered. – Euro trash. Way overpriced. Terrible to the customers. Bad attitude. Horrible return policy even with receipt. Don't buy anything here. I will never step foot in here again nor will anyone I know, when I tell them how they treated me. They act like they are doing you a favor when you come into the store. Everyone I told my story to, either knows someone or had a story of their own to tell. This place should be shut down.

close this place down already.. – seriously, #$%! this store. are they joking? The WORST possible service, obviously overpriced clothes, dirty floor and dressing rooms. I was in there yesterday looking around and here is the grocery list of major problems:

store opened approx 15 min late.

almost attacked by overzealous salespeople

saw a helmut lang shirt that i know for a fact was $32 OVER retail

dressing room floor looked like a 13 year old girls bedroom floor

heard employee tell another one i was a 'cheap j*w' and 'annoying' because i asked if the had a shoe in another size

one guy was nice and apologized for the other ones behavior. i asked him if i could see the manager and he said, no one is really here that i would 'want' to talk to. 'sorry, bro'

bottom line ... i will bad-mouth this store to everyone i meet until the day the close down for good

Drifting Toward Effeminate and Overly Euro-priced – I used to love this place as one of the only original men's clothing stores that was hip, but lately they have seemingly catered to the very effeminate style-minded. I wish they would go back to having more masculine styles. Also with the Euro's value going through the roof, much of the clothing imported from Europe is now way over-priced. Having said this, I still bought a Firetrap shirt for $90 the other day which is very cool.

A boutique with Italian inclinations in that most American of places--the mall. – In Short
Flashy prints and dress shirts, sport coats and leather pants of every conceivable size, shape and color all betray a strong bias toward Italian designers, which continues through the wall of hand-tooled leather shoes. Despite the emphasis on dressy clubwear, however, it's denim from Diesel, Firetrap and Sonetti that proves most popular among both male and female shoppers. The smaller women's boutique offers fur-trimmed, full-length leather coats and pared-down screened T-shirts for the well-heeled rock star pretender.

buyer beware – This store has very strict policies that worked against me. I purchased a pair of tennis shoes that had a special finish to the leather. It immediately started peeling off. The store management claimed that it had never happened before and were not interested in fixing the problem or exchanging the product. I paid $250 for a rare product that I loved, they are damaged and I'm stuck with them. If you work as a stylist or movie star, this shop is for you. I'd recommend going on a trip to Europe and shopping there instead. :(

I felt like I gave three pints of blood – Be prepared to drop an unholy crapload of cash, but leave with really pimpin threads. The guy who waited on me gave excellent personal attention.
