In Short
At lunch, office workers pack the place to the tune of upbeat Indian instrumentals. In the evening, the crowd skews toward casual couples and small groups. Beyond house-specialty tandoori grilled lamb, chicken, shrimp and sea bass, most dishes come enhanced with rich sauces and curries. Chicken is served in tangy tamarind sauce, and vegetarian gobi aloo sautes cauliflower and potatoes in garlic, ginger and spices. Tall glasses of mango lassis help cut the spice.

Anyone who loves Indian food knows that there is nothing WORSE than a bad Indian meal. Judging from the meal I just had, this place is awful. The meal started with samosas that were ok - just ok. From there it went downhill. Ordered chicken tikka masala and when the meal arrived - it LOOKED bad. The chicken was like than stuff you get out of cans. The sauce was mostly OIL, and what wasn't oil was so overseasoned and salty that it was nearly inedible. The rice was bad. How can rice be bad? It just was, overcooked and it looked "old". The menu said fresh veggies but, amazingly (!!!) they were from a CAN. Yuk. I don't know about the other reviews posted here talking about the pasta and pizza (????) (in an Indian place?????) but take my word as one that has eaten Indian and Pakistani food all over northern England.... this place is really bad.

This place rocks! Excellent homestyle Indian food, just like my ex girlfriends mom used to make...a real crowd pleaser...

A must try restaurant if you like Indian. Almost stuffed into the corner of a strip mall you'll be surprised by the warm, decor of the restaurant. Hidden inside is an experience of whole spices, authentic dishes and desserts. The service is courteous, impeccable and prompt, but not overbearing. I especially liked the contemporary Indian music which added to the experience. The Lamb Vindaloo was perfectly spicy and flavorful (4 out of 5 on their 'Chili Meter', but you can ask for an adjustment on the Chili Scale). My wife requested the Chicken Khorma, Chilimeter 4 (off menu) which she also loved. The consistency of all the sauces was perfect. We're looking forward to returning to this new Indian restaurant to try the wide variety of entrees on their menu. With a large bottle of beer and a dessert to share, the cost of our meal was $48 plus tip.
