Delicious Breakfast in LA! – The best breakfast you can find in Los Angeles. Nothing better than waking up in the morning and stuffing your face with food that will keep you satisfied for the entire day!

I recommend everyone to check this place out!

Delicious!!! – I love love love the lattes here, seriously every time I'm in the area I stop by. Sadly they're not in bigger cups but I think that's smart of the business, it's kind of like a crack-cocaine addiction (in a good way)...? I've been to brunch a few times and it's a bit scene-y with a wait but the food is delish. Highly recommend if you have the time to hang out/chill one morning.

I *heart* Kings Road Cafe <3 <3 <3 – This is place was always packed every morning with a variety of people spilling out onto the sidewalk on both the cafe/takeout side and the sit down side. Got me thinking, I need to try this place.

Stopped by one day for coffee and a take out breakfast. The lattes are perfection. whoever is operating that machine knows his espresso and his steamed milk. Got the breakfast panini sandwich, they forgot to um..panini press the sandwich. it was still good though. Hearty portions.

Trip 2, coffee and a blueberry muffin. Dad, who is extra picky about his mochas gives this place his hard to attain stamp of approval. he had a pastry and that was a hit too.

Trip 3, coffee and blueberry pancakes to go. HOLY SCHNIKES! rarely do i find pancakes life changing but these had plump juicy berries dotted all over the dinner plate sized pancake (you get three of those by the way) and was served with lemon butter and maple syrup. I almost didn't make it to work that day. I almost wanted to pull the car over and eat them right away.

Needless to say, this is now at the top of my list for brunch. They do a good breakfast burrito and breakfast croissant too. Gotta try their dinner menu. heard they have live music on Wednesday nights.

There are vegetarian options on the menu.

The only bad thing i've had there was their chai tea. I suspect it has more to do with my lack of appreciate for chai tea, i like mine really sweet and creamy. Theres is heavy spiced, unsweeatened with no cream.

all in all, i hope this place NEVER closes.

Best Brunch in LA! – This place is amazing...one of the best brunches I've ever had. The omelets are ridiculous good, the staff friendly, and the environment chill. Love it.

$10 Burger and Beer on Wednesdays – I went with a group of seven last week for their $10 burger and beer Wednesday night. The place wasn't too, too busy, so we were able to pull together three small round wooden tables for the group. It's not really deigned for large group dining. The waiter was hard to locate and the service was slow. You can choose from a veggie burger, salmon burger or regular burger as part of the special. Beers on tap are ok, not great - not a big selection. My friend said the salmon was dry and had to request more aioli. My veggie burger was a little burnt. The burgers come with sweet potatoes fries (more like dry wedges that really need ketchup) and a tasty little ceasar salad. Despite what might seem like a negative review, I think I would go back. I enjoyed the vibe - it had somewhat of a Euro cafe feel (right down to the detached but polite waiter). And I would probably order the same thing. So,if you're in the area and want to spend $12 (including tip) for a meal that will cetainly fill you up, then stop in. You won't be too disappointed, or too impressed.

Avoid the Cafe part – You can tell a place has been around too long when they stick a wide screen TV in the cafe and the barrista stands around flipping through the channels, unconcerned he may be annoying the few guests left. When I mentioned that people come to a cafe to talk, or read, or write and a TV detracts from that, he hollered to the guys in the back, "Hey, what channel is that program on?"

The coffee is BAD -- so bitter that I needed 4 sugars to drink it. They use the cheap burnt beans. Coffee shops use over-roasted beans because it masks the inferior quality of the coffee. The scone I had was large, heavy and gummy. Scones ought to be light, crumbly and full of buttery goodness, barely pressed together so that the gluten is not activated.

If you stay out of the cafe part and eat next door or outside, it's not a bad place. The service ranges from very caring when it's not too busy to lucky-if-they-get-your-order-right on a busy weekend lunch rush. The paninis usually arrive under-heated but the food quality, if not the preparation, is good. Salads and egg dishes are usually excellent, and the pasta is very good as well. For the price, it's a good value, although for about the same price you can have better food and the best coffee I've had in LA at Caffe Primo on Sunset.

BEST coffee in L.A. – Strong, wake ya up first thing in the morning, kinda coffee that packs a whollop. The food is very good but the service is a bit inconsistent. All in all, worth the (up to) 20 minute wait on the weekends for breakfast from wherever you are.

The good times are over – I used to go to this place for breakfast a few years back, but after a few disappointing experiences stopped going. I decided to go back on a whim Sunday and can sadly report that things haven't improved. The first problem was that the service was slow. It was very busy (Sunday morning), and the staff were probably overrun, but it's been that busy every Sunday I've been so can hardly have been a surprise to the management. The home fries I ordered were not cooked properly and had to be sent back, and I swear that was one of the problems I experienced before. The lattes were good however. I hope they get their mojo back as it's a convenient and pleasant spot for a leisurely breakfast.

The coffee was great, but everything else was mediocre – We heard about this place from some friends and were excited to check it out. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were just disappointed by the service as well as the food. Although the hostess was very nice and found us a great table outside in no time at all, our server was not engaging in any way and seemed like he really didn't want to be there. The food was bland and we left wondering why our friends recommended this place. The one thing I will say, the coffee was the best cup I have had in Los Angeles. They make it one cup at a time, the way it should be. We may try this spot again in a few months, but for right now they need some work.
